Nick Pasqual’s legal troubles continue.

The actor from How I Met Your Mother was convicted of attempted murder on May 8th. He was found guilty of stabbing his former girlfriend, Allie Shehorn, two years after the attack, which involved breaking into her home.

After a jury trial on May 8th, Pasqual was found guilty of domestic violence, first-degree burglary, and rape, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.

The man, age 36, is scheduled to be sentenced on June 2nd. He could receive a life sentence in state prison.

TopMob News has reached out to an attorney for Pasqual but has not heard back.

Prosecutors say the attack happened in May 2024. They claim Pasqual broke into the Hollywood makeup artist’s home and stabbed her several times.

After the incident, Pasqual reportedly left the area and was apprehended by border officials in Texas, at the crossing between the U.S. and Mexico, according to a statement released by Los Angeles County authorities in May 2024.

I still can’t believe it! They charged him – Pasqual – with attempted murder! And not just that, but first-degree burglary while someone was inside! Apparently, Gascón, the District Attorney, announced all of this, and Pasqual completely denied everything, pleading not guilty to all the charges. It’s just… shocking, honestly.

Just days before the assault, Shehorn filed a restraining order against Pasqual. According to the order, obtained by TopMob News, Shehorn alleged that Pasqual had sexually assaulted and choked her in April 2024, and physically assaulted her with a belt in January 2024.

After the attack, Gascón expressed his well wishes for the Shehorn, but also made a promise to her.

I am deeply saddened by this terrible incident and my heart goes out to the victim. My office, and especially our Bureau of Victim Services, is offering all available support and resources to help her recover from the physical and emotional pain she has suffered.

He stated that this terrible event highlights the risks of violence at home. He promised that the person who committed this awful act will be held responsible.
