The third and final season of Good Omens has arrived, and fans are already watching it on Prime Video. Everyone’s excited to see how the popular fantasy series concludes!
As a huge fan, I was so relieved to finally see Crowley and Aziraphale back together in the finale! Rachel Talalay directed it, and it picks up right after that heartbreaking split at the end of season 2. It was great to see David Tennant and Michael Sheen share the screen again.
The prophesied Second Coming is approaching, and with it comes a dual mission: saving the world and fixing their troubled relationship.
But what of the show’s future? Here’s everything we know.
Why won’t there be a Good Omens season 4?
Honestly, the story just feels complete. It really wraps up everything for Aziraphale and Crowley – their whole journey just comes to a natural end.
From the beginning, the plan for Good Omens was to create three seasons of the show, and it has successfully expanded on the story from the original book by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
David Tennant, who plays Crowley, has confirmed they are filming a final season of Good Omens. He told The Independent they are ‘going back to do the final season.’
We’ve made a few changes to the team, but we’re still able to finish telling the story. It would have been frustrating to end things without a resolution, so I’m happy we found a way to wrap it up.

Why is Good Omens season 3 so short?
The third season was originally planned to have six episodes, but it was made shorter after Neil Gaiman, the author, left the project.
Following accusations of sexual assault – which he firmly rejects – Neil Gaiman, a writer on the series Good Omens, stepped away from the TV show. While he did contribute to the final episode, he wasn’t involved in the production process, and his company, Blank Corporation, had no role in making the series.
Nine women have publicly accused the writer of misconduct. These allegations were reported in a January 2025 article by Vulture and discussed in a July 2024 podcast from Tortoise Media.

The accusations against Gaiman involved claims of sexual activity, including rough sex and BDSM, that occurred without consent. Gaiman has strongly denied these claims, stating that his conduct was always consensual and legal.
When I read these recent stories, some parts felt familiar, while others didn’t. It’s a mix of descriptions of things that actually occurred and things that clearly didn’t.
I’m not perfect, but I’ve never had sex with anyone without their full consent. Not once.
Good Omens season 3 is available to stream on Prime Video now.
