I’m really worried about Sam on Corrie lately! He’s been having these scary hallucinations, and they seem to be getting worse and worse. It’s so upsetting to watch him go through this.
Teenager Will Driscoll is struggling with his mental health because he’s being blackmailed by Megan Walsh, who is exploiting him. Beth Nixon plays Megan, and Lucas Hodgson-Wale plays Will.
They were secretly involved, and both were determined to stop Sam from revealing the abuse he’d suffered. Sam tried hard to gather proof, even secretly setting up a camera in her apartment, but Megan fiercely threatened to accuse him of being a peeping Tom, effectively shutting him down.
After the event, he started using ADHD medication to cope with stress, which ultimately led to him collapsing in public.
Leanne Battersby noticed something was bothering her stepson, and he eventually confided in her about his worries. Megan was questioned by authorities, but without enough proof and because Will claimed everything was fine, the investigation was closed.

Sam once thought he saw Will running towards him on Victoria Street and falling over, but recent episodes have revealed that this actually happened only in his mind – it was something he imagined.
Will finally reported Megan this week, and she was taken into custody after attempting to escape to France. Sam found out about this and believed his troubles were finished, but he experienced another hallucination, this time imagining Will was trapping him in an alleyway.
He started trying to protect himself, and accidentally broke his telescope while doing so. Afterwards, Sam went to Leanne’s apartment to study, but things quickly went wrong.

Will had another angry fantasy where he confronted him, blaming him for all his problems. Sam got a fright when Leanne explained the slamming door was just the wind, so he chose to study at the Bistro instead.
My dad, Nick, and stepmum, Toyah, told me that Megan had denied everything, which means I’ll have to speak at court. They tried to make me feel better, saying it would all be okay, but as soon as I put my headphones on, I heard Will’s voice telling me that nobody trusts me. It really messed me up.
Sitting in the restaurant office, he watched Toyah and Nick talk about a wine order on the security cameras. But in his mind, he imagined they were saying something completely different.

Tonight on the show, the drama kept building as Sam imagined a conversation with Roy Cropper (David Neilson). They were playing chess, and Sam revealed he was worried about being followed, pulling a tracking device from his bag to illustrate his fears.
Roy had to leave to talk about updates to his cafe, and while he was gone, Sam started to believe Roy was still present. In Sam’s mind, this imagined Roy hinted that he’d let Nick down and that Nick might not have ever wanted him in his life.
It turned out Nick had put the tracker in Sam’s backpack because he was worried about his safety.
When the episode ended, Sam returned to the memorial bench in Victoria Gardens and talked to “Roy” once more. Roy warned him not to trust anyone and to confront his enemies directly.
Will Sam find help before it’s too late?
