Cardi B Shares How Motherhood Has Changed Her Fashion

Cardi B likes diamonds, stunting and shining even more since becoming a mom.

The Grammy-winning artist discussed how having four children – 7-year-old Kulture, 4-year-old Wave, 20-month-old Blossom (with her ex, Offset), and her 5-month-old son with Stefon Diggs – has changed her relationship with fashion.

Cardi B playfully dismissed the idea that motherhood has changed her much, exclaiming, “They haven’t changed me for sht!” However, she admitted she would adjust her style for school events, saying she wouldn’t wear anything too revealing around her daughter’s classmates. “I’m not gonna go to my daughter’s school with a see-through shirt or with a shirt [where] my nipples are rock hard,” she joked to TopMob News.

Cardi B is known for her incredible style, whether she’s on the red carpet or at a more casual event, and she always makes a statement with bold fashion choices.

Fashion is really important to me and makes me feel confident and good about myself. When I’m not focused on music or videos, I love to express my creativity through style. Whether it’s experimenting with clothes, hair, makeup, or accessories, fashion is a big passion of mine.

Staying current with new trends is actually a key way Cardi B stays motivated as a mom, particularly when she’s missing being on tour.

Cardi B explained that she enjoys putting effort into her appearance because feeling good about how you look motivates you to be productive and get out and do things.

Cardi B’s love of fashion has inspired her daughter, Kulture, to also enjoy getting dressed up and expressing herself through style.

Cardi B jokingly complained that her daughter, Kulture, is always playing in her closet. While she’s getting tired of it, Kulture understands she can play with her clothes and shoes, but is not allowed to touch her purses, especially after already drawing on one of them.

Cardi explained that her daughter, Kulture, really loves bright, colorful patterns and designs, like rainbows and flowers. She described Kulture as a lively and very feminine little girl.

Cardi B is enjoying family time with Kulture and her loved ones while preparing for her next album, which will be a bit different from her previous work. She’s also thrilled to be partnering with Fashionphile, a website where people can buy and sell pre-owned luxury items.

Cardi B said she loves Fashionphile because they carry bags she’s been searching for everywhere – both new and old, including hard-to-find vintage styles and items no longer available in stores.

Cardi B enjoys receiving expensive gifts and designer clothes, but she also appreciates a bargain. She admitted she loves a good deal, saying, “I don’t want to pay extra!” when talking about the prices at Fashionphile.
