The Batman Part II filming begins in the UK after director Matt Reeves confirmed A-list cast members

Filming for The Batman Part II has officially started, following the recent announcement of the cast by director Matt Reeves.

Development of the next Batman movie, following the 2022 film, has been slower than expected. Its release date has been pushed back twice – first from October 2025 to October 2026, and then again to October 2027.

Pictures and videos from the movie set were posted online on Thursday, May 21st, revealing filming was happening in Liverpool, England.

On the set, fans noticed a stunt double standing in for Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne. They also saw a police car from Gotham City that looked damaged and covered in snow, plus a new logo for the movie displayed on a specific camera model – an Alexa265.
