Survivor’s Tiffany Details Unaired Conversation With Jonathan

Tiffany Ervin is spilling some major Survivor 50 secrets.

The 35-year-old contestant shared details of a conversation with fellow finalist Jonathan Young after finishing fifth on the CBS reality show. She claims this conversation, which wasn’t shown on television, could have drastically changed the outcome of the competition.

Okay, so you saw me and Jonathan on the hammock, right? Well, I confronted him because I was SO confused. I was like, ‘Seriously, why are you fine with Joe beating you, but not me? We both won the same number of immunity challenges!’ And honestly, what he said next… it just broke me. He looked right at me and said, ‘Well, Tiffany, you’re a girl. The furthest a girl has ever gotten is four days, but guys… guys can go eight.’ I just… I completely lost it. It was so unfair and frustrating, I couldn’t believe he actually said that!

Jonathan’s admission sent the New Jersey native into a tailspin.

Tiffany, a contestant from season 46, explained that she became very upset during the final tribal council because she couldn’t understand what was happening. She said she felt like she was questioning reality, asking herself if she was being tricked. TopMob News contacted CBS for a statement but hasn’t received one yet.

When Tiff narrowly lost the last immunity challenge to Jonathan, she realized she was likely to be eliminated and wouldn’t win the $2 million prize.

Although she was upset with Jonathan’s stated reason for writing her name down during tribal council, she understood Rizo Velovic’s reasoning for wanting her eliminated from the game.

She explained that she had a conversation with Rizo where he plainly stated he didn’t think he could win if she was also competing. He told her, ‘Tiffany, I just don’t think I’m going to win competing against you.’

Neither Tiff nor Rizo made it to the final three contestants. That meant Jonathan, Joe, and Aubry Bracco were left to compete for the win.

Ultimately, host Jeff Probst announced the sole Survivor of season 50 was Aubry.

So, did Jonathan’s unaired comment influence how Tiff voted for the winner?

Honestly, I didn’t think anyone deserved to win more than Aubry,” she explained to TopMob. “She really shined at the final tribal council and made the strongest case for how she played the game. That’s ultimately what decided it for me.

Honestly, after all the craziness at the finale, I’m so excited for Tiff to go back to Fiji! She deserves another shot at winning – this is her third time, and I really think she’s got what it takes.

She stated firmly, “I have to prove myself. I’ve come this far, and I’m determined to win everything when I return.”

The very first winner of Survivor is now remembered by many as one of the show’s most controversial players. The corporate trainer gained a reputation for being arrogant and playing the game aggressively, and he also famously walked around camp without clothes during the first season in 2000.

Richard gained fame as the first winner of Survivor, and then became a TV and radio host. He later returned to compete for another million dollars on Survivor All-Stars. He also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and The Biggest Loser.

In 2005, he faced tax evasion charges for not paying taxes on his $1 million winnings and the money he earned from appearances after his victory. He argued that CBS had promised to cover the taxes, but he was found guilty in 2006 and sentenced to over four years in prison. After his release in May 2009, he was sent back to jail because he hadn’t filed his tax returns for the years 2000 and 2001.

After Tina won the second season, which took place in the Australian Outback, things mostly returned to normal for her.

Despite her fame, the nurse and motivational speaker said her life remained largely the same. She did achieve some personal goals, though, including building a cabin in North Carolina and publishing her book, Out Live, Out Laugh, Out Love, in 2006. She also dedicated her time to supporting the National Arthritis Foundation and promoting adoption.

She continued competing for two more seasons, being eliminated early on All-Stars. She then competed alongside her daughter on Blood vs. Water and also appeared on The Amazing Race.

Looking back on her time on Survivor, she described it as a stepping stone that opened doors to many new adventures. In a 2018 interview, she explained that she now lives a simple life in the woods, free to pursue her passions. She enjoys activities like biking, swimming, kayaking, and riding motorcycles, and also loves to perform and travel.

After spending 39 days competing on Sole Survivor in Marquesas, the winner quickly returned to her everyday life.

She admitted that appearing on Survivor didn’t really alter her life much. She explained that she and her husband intentionally made a point of keeping things normal, and she still does everyday things like shopping at Walmart.

Still, Vecepia managed to land her own local TV show and traveled as a motivational speaker.

As she noted, “It’s been a really, really good ride.”

Everyone loved the retired soccer player when he competed in season three, and he even won! He came back for the All-Stars season, but didn’t do as well the second time around.

Following his victory in 2002, Ethan started Grassroot Soccer, an organization that combined his passion for soccer with his desire to help others. It raised funds and awareness to combat HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Ethan received a Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis in 2009 and faced another challenge with the disease two years later. Fortunately, a stem cell transplant from his brother led to his recovery and he is now cancer-free.

After his ten-year relationship with Jenna Morasca, also a winner on Survivor, ended, Ethan found love again with interior designer Lisa Heywood. He credited meeting Lisa as the reason he beat cancer twice, saying she inspired him to build a beautiful and healthy future.

The couple got married in 2016, and his representative described the event to TopMob News as a beautiful celebration of love and life.

A former adult film star who became a successful used car salesman (and ranked #1 in the country during his season on the show!) is one of the most debated and talked-about people connected to the series, both during filming and in his personal life.

In 2006, Brian, the winner of Survivor: Thailand, was arrested on charges of simple battery and animal cruelty. His then-wife, Charmaine Costigan, reported to police that he had shot a puppy with a bow and arrow. This followed an incident in 2002, just before his season finale aired, where Charmaine was arrested for allegedly hitting him in the face during an argument.

Charmaine explained to the Journal-Constitution that Brian never really adjusted to life after being on the show, especially after his arrest. She said he developed a belief that he was capable of anything and couldn’t be harmed. Later that year, he and his wife divorced, and he went on to marry Courtney Heidik.

In a 2009 TV Guide Network special, it was revealed that Brian, often considered an unpopular winner, used a significant amount of his prize money to buy sports cars.

At just 21 years old, this college student and swimsuit model won season six of Survivor, famously making a daring choice – stripping for peanut butter! She remains the youngest woman to ever achieve victory on the show.

In addition to the $1 million prize, Jenna also won a romantic pairing during the finale: Ethan, the winner from season three. The two dated for ten years before breaking up in 2013.

Jenna took a break from her studies, but later finished school with a psychology degree. She then worked as a TV host for TV Guide Network and acted in a few films. Along with her husband, Ethan, she competed on The Amazing Race and they both had their own show called Everyday Health.

Jenna received an invitation to return for another season of All-Stars, but she decided to leave the show to care for her mother, who was fighting cancer. Sadly, her mother passed away just eight days after Jenna came home.

In early 2018, Jenna was arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession. The police report stated she also bit an officer while being treated for a possible overdose. Her SUV had a personalized license plate that said “AMAZON,” which was likely a nod to her appearance on the reality show Survivor: Amazon.

It feels so good to see Jenna back! After keeping quiet for a while, she finally posted on Twitter, and it was amazing. She said it had been a long time, but she’s returned and is feeling better than ever – she even joked about being ‘Jenna 4.0’! As a longtime follower, I’m just thrilled to have her back online.

This player is a true Survivor champion! She’s the only contestant to win two seasons of the show, earning a total of $2 million. While she tried for a third win on Game Changers, she unfortunately didn’t make it far, being eliminated before the merge.

Even though Sandra won two seasons of Survivor – season seven (Pearl Islands) and season twenty (Heroes vs. Villains) – her life remained pretty much the same afterward.

She explained that despite winning Survivor in 2009, she hasn’t changed her lifestyle much. She still shops at places like Walmart and K-Mart, uses coupons, and goes to afternoon movie showings.

Sandra and her husband continue to live in North Carolina, and their daughter recently earned her college degree.

Talk about the ultimate reality TV power couple.

Boston Rob is famous as one of the most memorable players in Survivor history. He competed four times before finally winning the $1 million prize on Redemption Island (Season 22).

He’d essentially already achieved victory by falling in love with Amber, a fellow Survivor contestant (originally on The Australian Outback), during All-Stars. Although Amber won the $1 million prize in the finale, it happened right after he proposed to her on live television. It didn’t matter that some viewers booed or the jury was critical – they were in love!

Rob and Amber first gained fame as a couple competing on The Amazing Race, where they finished in second place. They returned to compete again two years later on the All-Stars season. They married in 2005 and later starred in their own reality show, Rob and Amber: Against the Odds, in 2007. Together, they have four daughters.

Following his victory in his fourth and final season – a performance host Jeff Probst called nearly flawless – Boston Rob announced to Entertainment Weekly that he was leaving Survivor. He also won $100,000 from the viewers’ vote, adding to his win as the sole survivor.

I’ve finally achieved all my goals. This time, the recognition meant more than the financial gain. I can finally live openly and without feeling ashamed, and on top of it all, Amber will be taken care of financially as well.

Some people buy houses; the season 9 winner decided to build one instead.

He confessed to one big purchase after his win: a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He told TV Guide Network it was something he’d dreamed of owning since he was a teenager, but couldn’t afford until now. It was the first thing he bought with his winnings.

After the show, he went back to his old job and planned to retire someday, hoping to travel afterward.

After everything that happened, people expected my life to be different, but it actually went back to normal,” said the Ohio resident in an interview with People magazine. “I’m still working my job as a project inspector for the Department of Transportation, I’m with the same friends, and I still live in the same town. I’m really content with my life right now.

The firefighter from Long Island won season 10 of Survivor after a remarkably consistent game. He set a record by winning five individual immunity challenges and remained well-liked by other players – he’s even considered one of host Jeff Probst’s favorite winners ever. Later, Tom returned for the Heroes vs. Villains season as a popular contestant, but was eventually eliminated in fifth place.

After winning $1 million, Tom left his job as a firefighter and started working in insurance in New York City, focusing on life and disability policies. He shared in a 2009 TV Guide Network interview, “Everything since then has been a wonderful surprise.”

A stealthy player, Danni flew under the radar to win Survivor‘s 11th season.

Danni, a former Miss Kentucky USA and model, married NFL player Casey Wiegmann. They have two sons, Bo and Stone, who both play baseball. The family currently lives in Kansas City, and Danni says she loves being close to nature, often traveling to baseball games every weekend.

Danni has pursued many creative paths, including launching a clothing line called Sideline Chic, working as a sports reporter, and recently, writing children’s books.

While winning a million dollars is amazing, she says it hasn’t really changed her day-to-day life, according to People magazine.

After winning Survivor: Panama, the yogi used the prize money to follow his dream of making music. He explained in a 2009 TV interview that the money gave him the freedom to pursue his passions. He also shared that he bought cars for his father and brother and even started a business selling Russian hats.

During his time on the show, Aras became friends with musician Damien Rice, who then helped guide him as a mentor. Later, Aras started making music as Odd Us.

He later confessed that becoming famous after the show was difficult. He even came back for another season, Blood vs. Water, with his older brother.

Everyone faces their own challenges. After winning Survivor, I actually became quite depressed – it was simply overwhelming. The intense exposure to the outdoors, to my own thoughts, and to public attention was too much to sustain. Eventually, I found balance by opening a yoga studio in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2015, I married model Christy Petersen, and we now have two children.

Yul is remembered as one of the most popular and kind contestants in Survivor history, especially after his win on the particularly controversial Cook Islands season, where players were initially divided into tribes based on their race.

I feel incredibly fortunate,” he shared in a 2009 TV Guide Network interview. “After appearing on Survivor, I’ve been able to pursue passions I’ve always had. A big part of that has been working with various cancer, leukemia, and bone marrow organizations to encourage more people to become bone marrow donors.” He also founded a nonprofit dedicated to helping those affected by domestic violence.

After appearing on Survivor, Yul transitioned into TV hosting and began lecturing for the FBI. He also opened multiple Red Mango frozen yogurt stores in San Francisco. He’d discovered Red Mango while searching for a healthier dessert after the show, as he’d gained 25 pounds during his time on Survivor.

He didn’t just discover hidden idols on the show—he also met his future wife, Sophie, through a fellow contestant named Brad Virata. They now have two children together, he shared with EW.

The winner of Survivor: Fiji made history by receiving every single vote from the final tribal council – a first for the show in its fourteenth season.

Instead of buying things, Earl used his winnings to travel the world, visiting 35 countries. He said he valued these experiences above all else, explaining, “That’s priceless.” He also returned to Fiji, wanting to enjoy a more luxurious trip after his win.

He donated the money to the Perthes Kids Foundation, establishing the Earl Cole Fund to support research and treatment for Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease, a childhood bone condition he himself experienced.

The winner of Survivor: China received a $1 million prize and initially hoped to travel the world, but he later faced public challenges with alcohol addiction after appearing on the CBS reality show.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this about my absolute favorite Dr. Phil guest! He was on the show a bunch of times, but the story from 2017 just broke my heart. He told Stat and The Boston Globe that the producers actually gave him alcohol and Xanax before dragging him onto the stage for that infamous 2013 appearance – the one where he blew a .5 on the breathalyzer! It was so shocking. And then he was brave enough to come back in 2016 and admit he’d relapsed. I just feel so bad for him, honestly. It’s all so messed up!

A spokesperson for the show has refuted the allegations, stating to TopMob News that a recent article doesn’t accurately portray Dr. Phil, the show’s practices, or its goal of informing viewers about substance abuse. They specifically denied claims that the show provides guests with drugs or alcohol, calling such suggestions false and unfounded.

In a 2018 Reddit AMA, Todd expressed gratitude for the show Survivor, explaining it helped him access excellent treatment facilities, which he considered a significant benefit. However, he also admitted to issues with the show’s portrayal of events and his own behavior, stating he should have been receiving medical care instead of having large amounts of vodka readily available in his dressing room.

After winning in 2007, Todd – who previously dated fellow Survivor contestant Spencer Duhm – worked as a waiter in Orlando. He told People magazine in 2012 that he never revealed his win to customers because he feared it would affect his tips. He explained that people would likely be less generous if they knew he’d won a million dollars.

Now “happy and sober,” Todd revealed in his Reddit AMA that he manages a movie theater.

Parvati is considered one of the most successful players in Survivor history. She famously used her social skills during her second season, Micronesia (Season 16), to form a strong alliance with the other women—known as the Black Widow Brigade—and ultimately win the grand prize.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always been fascinated by the dynamics of power and perception, and Parvati really embodies that. What’s so compelling about watching her play is seeing her evolve. Initially, she relied heavily on charm and flirtation to navigate social situations. But by the time she won, she’d really grown. She understood her appearance could open doors, but she’d learned that true power comes from genuine connection – building trust and relating to people on a deeper level. It’s a beautiful illustration of how we all can grow beyond surface-level tactics to build authentic influence.

Following her impressive victory, she generously donated $50,000 to Knockout For Girls, an organization that combines her passions for boxing and giving back. She also recently visited Peru and is planning future travels.

Parvati, known for finishing second on Heroes vs. Villains, found both love and companionship through Survivor. She married John Fincher, also a Survivor: Samoa contestant, in 2017, and they had a child in July 2018. However, Parvati filed for divorce in August of this year. In 2023, she publicly shared her relationship with comedian Mae Martin.

After appearing on the show, Parvati transitioned to a career as a yoga teacher and now coaches people in personal and professional development, according to her Instagram page.

Bob, known for his distinctive bow tie, made history as the oldest winner of Survivor at age 57, winning the top prize in season 17.

The other contestants underestimated the high school teacher because he was older, but he proved them wrong by winning immunity challenges many times. On top of the million-dollar prize, he also received $100,000 after being voted ‘player of the season’.

A retired Maine teacher used his prize money to launch Maine Forest Yurts, a family business offering environmentally friendly camping in the state he loves. He also founded Durham Warriors, a non-profit that provides free stays at the yurts for disabled veterans, active military personnel and their families, as well as other charitable organizations.

The rancher from Alabama easily won his first season, Tocantins, and went on to compete in two more: Heroes vs. Villains – where he made a famously bad play – and Game Changers.

He said he planned to continue working and supporting himself by running the cattle ranch. He also hoped to invest the prize money and establish college funds for all of his nieces and nephews, as he shared in the 2009 TV Guide special.

After two years, he shared that he’d used the money to buy his sisters new cars, help his parents financially, and invest most of what was left over.

In 2015, J.T. married his long-term partner, and his close friend Stephen Fishbach, who was also a fellow contestant on the show, performed the wedding ceremony.

At 21, he made history as the youngest winner of Survivor, claiming the top prize on the show’s 21st season, titled Old vs. Young.

Fabio revealed his post-show plans: launching a production company focused on 45-minute short films. He also expressed interest in trying stand-up comedy, calling it ‘really fun,’ and shared that he’s written around 60 poems, describing them as ‘really cool.’ While the production company didn’t seem to take off, he did play drums for the band Space Funk Odyssey.

Shortly after winning, the model was arrested in Santa Monica in 2011 for skateboarding while intoxicated. After posting $37,000 bail, he was famously picked up from jail in a limousine full of friends and beer – a rather boastful display.

On the Survivor After Show, he revealed he bought a farm for his dad and a condo for himself.

The witty and blunt medical student came into season 23 with one goal: win $1 million.

Before competing, I’d been telling my friends for ages how simple Survivor was and how well I’d do,” the 22-year-old explained to CBS. “I’m hoping to be able to choose my medical specialty based on what I love, rather than how much money it makes, and to pay off my student loans faster.

I was absolutely thrilled when she won Sole Survivor! It was so inspiring, and it didn’t surprise me at all that she went on to achieve even more, eventually graduating from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2017. She’s a true overachiever!

Kim won the $1.1 million prize on Survivor: One World, and fans also voted her the season’s best player. This wasn’t surprising, as she played a remarkably strong and dominant game throughout the 24th season.

Kim, the bridal shop owner, explained that because she didn’t have much money growing up, she was thrilled to be able to use her prize money to spoil her family.

I’ve got some bills to take care of, and I’m really looking forward to investing in a few small bridal boutiques. I also want to do a little renovating and just enjoy having some financial freedom. Coming from a modest background, it’s amazing to finally feel secure and be able to help my family and friends.

Since appearing on Survivor, Kim has gotten married, had three children, and launched a successful interior design business. One of her biggest clients is her close friend and fellow Survivor contestant Chelsea Meissner, who later became a star on Southern Charm.

Despite a losing streak – failing to win any immunity challenges and attending every tribal council after the merge – the winner of season 25 surprisingly took home the $1 million prize.

I was so excited when she joined the show, and I was really surprised to hear her say in an interview with THR that she wasn’t necessarily in it for the money. She said she was there for the experience, which I thought was really refreshing!

She explained that she and her husband needed time to carefully consider their options. Their top priority is ensuring their 9-year-old daughter has a fully funded college education, but they also want to help their nieces and nephews. She believes the $1 million could significantly improve their lives, and they’re committed to making thoughtful decisions without rushing.

John Cochran, often called just Cochran, first appeared on Survivor in season 23 and later won season 26. He’s a hugely popular player, and Jeff Probst, the show’s host and executive producer, has even called him his favorite winner. Probst told EW that Cochran perfectly embodied the spirit of Survivor – the idea that anything could happen on any given day.

Cochran was a huge fan of the show Survivor – he even ran a newsletter about it in high school – so winning the million-dollar prize wasn’t his main motivation for being on the show.

He explained in an interview with THR that he plans to use the prize money for practical things, like a down payment on an apartment, with maybe a small, fun purchase on the side. He doesn’t want to spend it on anything too flashy. Once he gets the new place, he wants to fill it with the latest technology – lots of wireless gadgets. He also admitted he’s been wanting a Segway, even though he thinks it’s a bit silly. He isn’t sure how often he’d use it, but imagines riding it around, even just in circles inside his apartment.

After appearing on Survivor and earning a law degree from Harvard, Cochran pursued a career in television writing, contributing to CBS comedies like The Millers and Kevin Can Wait.

Tyson won Survivor: Blood vs. Water after trying out twice before. His girlfriend, Rachel Fougler, was also a contestant on the show.

Tyson said he wasn’t planning any big purchases with his winnings, explaining to ET that he’d likely invest the money carefully to make it last, allowing him to relax and enjoy himself a bit.

The retired cyclist confessed he wasn’t interested in luxury cars, preferring bicycles instead. He admitted the only reason he’d consider buying a car would be to playfully annoy his friends who are into cars.

Even though Rachel didn’t last long on her original reality show, she found happiness on another one! Tyson proposed to her during the finale of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. Their wedding was officiated by Tyson’s Tocantins castmate, Stephen Fishbach, in February 2015, and they’ve since welcomed two children into their family.

From the very beginning of Cayagan, it was obvious that the police officer from New Jersey would be a strong contender throughout the season and the entire series. He did eventually win the $1 million prize, but his attempt to win a second time failed when he was eliminated early in Game Changers.

Despite being a controversial winner – some viewers even booed him during the finale because of his gameplay – the champion of season 28 had practical plans for the prize money. A father of two, he told The Hollywood Reporter that his first priority was establishing a college fund for his children, emphasizing the importance of education.

Okay, so he bought a PINK chandelier! Can you believe it? Apparently, it was his wife’s idea, and honestly, it’s the cutest thing ever. He even joked to People magazine after the show that she could get it at Home Depot, but then he said he might need a whole new house just to fit it! A whole house! I’m dying, it’s so sweet and over-the-top. He really loves her, and I love that he’s willing to do anything for her, even build a mansion around a pink chandelier. It’s just… perfect.

After appearing on The Amazing Race twice with her twin sister, Nadiya Anderson, and falling short of victory each time, the fitness enthusiast finally won the $1 million prize on season 29.

I plan to get my parents a special gift, and I’m going to share a significant amount of my winnings with Nadiya,” the CrossFit coach told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m not one to spend a lot of money. When I first competed on The Amazing Race, I was saving for physical therapy school, and this prize money could cover those costs. We’ve also always wanted to open our own CrossFit gym, and now that’s within reach.

The winner of Survivor: Worlds Apart was from the blue collar tribe. The oil driller quickly stepped up as a leader and became a strong player, matching the record for the most individual immunity wins.

For Mike, achieving a lasting legacy was more important than the financial gain. He told TV Guide that he valued the title he earned more than any amount of money, explaining, “Money comes and goes, you can always earn or spend it, but a title… you can’t take that away.”

But he did have plans for the money, using it to start a t-shirt company, Sweet T’s Designs.

He plans to invest the million dollars he won on Survivor and grow it to twenty-five or thirty million, then retire to a beach and enjoy spear fishing. He wants to essentially live the Survivor lifestyle, but in his everyday life, as reported by TV Junkies.

After his win, Mike found romance with Meg Maley, who previously appeared on Big Brother. They began dating in 2015 and got married in 2021.

I was so thrilled to see Jeremy win Survivor: Cambodia—Second Chance! After a rough start in his previous season, he really turned things around and played an amazing game. And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect – he announced that his wife, Val Collins, was pregnant right before the final tribal council! Honestly, it was a unanimous decision – everyone knew he deserved that million dollars, especially with a little one on the way. It was such a heartwarming moment as a longtime fan!

He explained that he’d already given the money to Val, who would use it to decorate the nursery. He plans to take her on vacation, but he’ll be returning to work afterward.

The couple’s son, Remy Bodhi, was born in December 2015, and they had another child in June 2017, bringing their total to four.

Jeremy plans to use most of his winnings from Survivor to pay for his children’s college education. He told People magazine that supporting his family is his main goal with the prize money, and that’s where the bulk of it will go.

During the 32nd season of Survivor, which divided contestants into groups based on intelligence, physical strength, and looks, one of the contestants—a bartender—didn’t have grand ambitions for the million-dollar prize if she won.

Michele shared with The Hollywood Reporter that her first financial goal was to pay off her car. After that, she planned to do some traveling, but ultimately wanted to focus on saving. She explained that, being young, she recognized the long-term benefits of careful financial planning and wanted to avoid spending impulsively, preferring to invest wisely for the future.

She did enjoy spending some of the money, telling EW she was planning a girls’ trip to wine country.

Currently, Michele is competing on the reality TV show The Challenge on MTV. She and fellow contestant Devin Walker began dating in June 2024.

As a longtime observer of Survivor, I have to say, the winner of Season 33 was a fascinating case! He was a huge fan of the show himself, and found himself on the millennial tribe during that season’s interesting generational battle – Millennials versus Gen X. It was a really unique dynamic to watch!

Following his recent win, the manager of a homeless shelter decided to use his $1 million prize to dedicate himself to cancer research, inspired by his mother’s battle with lung cancer. He’s already begun working with leading organizations like Stand Up 2 Cancer (to which he donated $100,000), the American Cancer Society, and the American Lung Association.

Adam and his mother, Susie, both huge fans of the show, originally applied to compete on Blood vs. Water together. Sadly, Susie was diagnosed with an illness before they could appear. Adam competed on the next season, and just nine months later, he was able to share the good news – he had won – with his mother before she passed away.

I didn’t know what to expect when I returned home. My mom was incredibly strong all season, even though she and the doctors had decided to stop her treatment. She absolutely refused to let me quit the game, and insisted I stay as long as possible. They had agreed that if I was voted off, even if I was still part of the jury, I would come home right away. I truly believe she waited for me to return.

Adam plans to use his winnings primarily for travel, something his family has always enjoyed. He doesn’t typically spend much money, and intends to save the rest to maintain his current lifestyle, rather than making large purchases. He also supports causes he cares about through donations.
