Forza Horizon 6 Crosses 6 Million Players

Forza Horizon 6 has reached a major milestone, with over six million players enjoying the open-world racing game. Players with the Premium Edition gained early access on May 15th, while the Standard Edition and those using Xbox Game Pass could start playing on May 22nd.

Looking at Forza Horizon 5, which launched in early access on November 5th, 2021 and quickly reached 10 million players by November 19th, the new game is expected to achieve similar numbers just as quickly. Strong positive feedback from both players and critics, along with its position as a top seller on Steam – even ahead of more affordable games like Subnautica 2 – suggests this will happen.

With all this building excitement, Forza Horizon 6 is expected to be a huge success when it releases on PS5 later this year. While Xbox and Playground Games haven’t announced a specific date, a September or October launch seems likely to avoid clashing with their other games. It’s also probable they’ll want to steer clear of competing with the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in November.

Honestly, we’ll just have to see what happens next. But if you’re looking for something to play right now, I’d definitely recommend checking out my review of Forza Horizon 6 – I gave it a 9 out of 10, so it’s a good one!
