Ya ya ya ya ya!
Put on your favorite Offspring album and hope for the best, because SEGA has brought back the Crazy Taxi social media accounts after seven years of silence!
A Japanese publisher shared a brief, five-second video showing a ‘TAXI’ light turning on. This is the first time they’ve posted on X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook since 2019.
We’ve known the company has been trying to revive the classic Hitmaker arcade games for a while, and rumors suggest it might be a multiplayer game you can play online.
Crazy Taxi is a game I absolutely loved as a kid. I played the Dreamcast version so often that the disc drive eventually stopped working.
I haven’t played the later games much, but I’ve been eagerly waiting for SEGA to revive this series for years.
Considering when this information appeared, it’s very likely we’ll see an announcement at either a State of Play or Summer Game Fest. An Xbox Showcase is also a possibility, especially since the original Crazy Taxi was an Xbox exclusive back in 2002.
