Spider-Man is one of Marvel’s most recognizable heroes. His enduring popularity is clear in the many movies, TV shows, and other media adaptations of his comic book stories. Numerous actors have portrayed Spider-Man over the years, each offering a unique take on the character. Despite differences in quality and style between these adaptations, they’ve all helped solidify Spider-Man’s place as a consistently popular and well-loved Marvel hero.
With Spider-Man remaining incredibly popular, it’s not surprising that lots of new Marvel projects starring the hero are planned or coming out soon. These projects offer fresh perspectives on Spider-Man, both inside and outside the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, and all of them feature the hero as a central character or key cast member. Here’s a list of every upcoming Spider-Man movie and TV show scheduled for release in 2026 and beyond, organized by their announced release dates.
7) Spider-Noir
Currently, the next Spider-Man related release will be Spider-Noir, a live-action TV show. The show is based on the popular version of the character from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and stars Nicolas Cage. Set in the 1930s, Spider-Noir will feature several Marvel characters and offer a dark, film noir-style take on Spider-Man and the Marvel universe. It will premiere on MGM+ on May 25, 2026, and will then be available on Prime Video starting May 27.
6) Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Fans are eagerly awaiting the next Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the film will continue Spider-Man’s story after the events of No Way Home. Besides following our hero, the movie will bring back familiar faces like the Punisher and the Hulk, and also introduce new characters to the MCU. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
5) Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (Season 2)
The first season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was a hit, and the show will return for two more seasons. Although it’s connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this Spider-Man series takes place in a separate timeline. In this version of events, Peter Parker is mentored by Norman Osborn. While there’s no official release date yet, many believe season 2 will premiere around late 2026.
4) Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse
After being delayed several times, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is now expected to be released soon. This third and final movie in the animated series will continue the story from where Across the Spider-Verse ended, resolving the cliffhanger. Known for its amazing visuals and heartfelt story, Beyond the Spider-Verse is highly anticipated by fans and is currently slated for release on June 18, 2027.
3) Avengers: Secret Wars
Although Spider-Man won’t appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie, he’s expected to play a major role in Avengers: Secret Wars. This film, which will conclude the current saga of Marvel Cinematic Universe stories, is predicted to be a huge hit, even though details about the plot are still scarce. We’ll likely learn more after Avengers: Doomsday is released, but Secret Wars is currently scheduled to come out on December 17, 2027.
2) Spidey & His Amazing Friends (Season 5)
Spider-Man isn’t just popular with older fans. The animated series Spidey and His Amazing Friends, designed for preschoolers, has been a big hit since it premiered in 2021. Though it takes some liberties with the original comics, the show’s bright visuals and fun stories have kept it popular, and a fifth season has been confirmed, though it doesn’t have a release date yet.
1) Spider-Punk
Following the popular introduction of Spider-Punk in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a spin-off movie focusing on the character has been announced. Daniel Kaluuya, who voiced Spider-Punk in Across the Spider-Verse, will co-write the script with Ajon Singh. Though still in the early stages of development, the project is already generating a lot of excitement, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
