Who Is Danny Go!’s Daniel Coleman?

Created in 2019 by Daniel and his friends Michael Finster and Matthew Padgett, Danny Go! is a fun and educational show for young children ages 3 to 7. It features music, movement, and lots of silliness, and aims to get kids learning and active. The show is available on both YouTube and Netflix, and Daniel, Michael, and Matthew all star in it. Daniel plays the main character, Danny, and his wife, Mindy Coleman, plays a character named Mindy Mango, making it a true family project.

When Was Danny Go! Star Daniel Coleman’s Son Isaac Diagnosed with Cancer?

In December 2025, Daniel shared the difficult news that his son, Isaac, had been diagnosed with mouth cancer. He explained on Instagram that while they had long anticipated this possibility due to Isaac’s Fanconi anemia, it was still shocking. Fanconi anemia is a genetic condition, as described by the Cleveland Clinic, that can cause physical differences, blood disorders, and an increased risk of cancer. Isaac was born in October 2011 and faced numerous health challenges throughout his life, including hospital stays, surgeries, and even bone marrow and kidney transplants. Daniel used social media to document Isaac’s journey, raise awareness about conditions like Fanconi anemia, and support organizations like the National Marrow Donor Program.

Isaac has been bravely fighting cancer. In January, he had an eight-hour surgery, and the following month, his father, Daniel, shared an update on his condition. Daniel explained on Instagram that Isaac is officially at stage 3, but is close to stage 4 due to how quickly the cancer is spreading. While doctors removed the visible cancer, there’s a strong possibility some remains at a microscopic level, leading to difficult treatment decisions. Because of complications from Fanconi anemia, Isaac has fewer treatment options than most children with cancer.

In April, Daniel reported that the cancer continued to spread rapidly and Isaac’s energy was very low. They were using a short course of palliative radiation to try and slow the growth of a large mass under his right eye, but their focus had shifted to keeping him comfortable. Isaac now has a hospice team helping to manage his pain, and his family is prioritizing making each day as peaceful and enjoyable as possible.

Did Danny Go! Star Daniel Coleman’s Son Isaac Have Any Siblings?

Four years after Isaac’s birth, Daniel and Mindy had another son, Levi. The two brothers quickly became close, and Daniel shared in a birthday message for Isaac that Levi already looked up to him. You can find photos of the family by continuing to read.

Isaac Coleman, who passed away at 14 after fighting mouth cancer, was deeply loved and supported by his family. This included his father, Daniel Coleman, the creator of Danny Go!, his mother, Mindy Coleman, and his younger brother, Levi Coleman.

Isaac had his picture taken during a family trip to the UK, a happy memory captured before he received a stage 3 mouth cancer diagnosis in December 2025.

This family of four loved exploring new places together, and one memorable trip was their visit to the UK in the autumn of 2025.

Mindy and Daniel supported Isaac throughout his fight with cancer and other health issues related to his Fanconi Anemia. This inherited condition, as described by the Cleveland Clinic, is caused by gene mutations and can lead to physical differences, blood disorders, bone marrow failure, and an increased risk of cancer.

In the summer of 2023, Isaac and his brother Levi shared a hug, which Daniel playfully called a very unusual display of affection between the two.

Mindy and Daniel have always been there for each other since they got married in 2009, such as when Mindy attended one of Daniel’s live shows while he was on his Danny Go! tour.

Isaac found solace in the family pets as he battled mouth cancer in early 2026.

The Colemans loved spending time together, both when traveling with Daniel during his Danny Go! tour and when they were simply at home as a family of four.
