One Piece Creator Shares Major Live-Action Season 3 Update

It’s been a month since the release of One Piece Season 2 on Netflix, and the show remains incredibly popular. After a wait of over two years, this season follows the Straw Hat Pirates as they navigate the Grand Line, encountering both new friends and foes. Like the first season, the show takes some liberties with the original manga while still capturing the heart of the story. Season 2 ends with a significant cliffhanger: the Straw Hat Pirates gain a new member and set sail for Alabasta. Premiering on March 10th, 2026, the season quickly became a global success. To build on this momentum, Netflix launched a six-episode podcast series on March 13th, 2026, featuring the cast and One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda discussing behind-the-scenes stories, hidden details, and more.

Netflix’s One Piece Live-Action Season 3 Will Be Out in 2027

I’m so hyped! We’re officially getting a third season, and it’s coming in 2027! They’ll announce the exact release date soon. This season will follow the crew as they finally reach Alabasta and go head-to-head with one of the Warlords – it’s going to be epic! Season two covered Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island, and it ended by hinting at what’s to come in Alabasta. Now, season three will fully adapt the Alabasta arc, and trust me, it’s a huge moment in the story. Everything’s about to get way more intense than what we’ve seen so far!

Wow, the season finale left me on the edge of my seat! Crocodile, one of the strongest pirates out there, is already plotting his next move, and the Straw Hats are heading straight for Alabasta. They’re going to have to fight harder than ever to save Vivi’s kingdom from this incredibly powerful foe. And get this – the next season is going to dive deeper into the Baroque Works organization, and finally reveal exactly what Crocodile is up to and why he needs Nico Robin’s help. It sounds like all of his schemes, and a huge secret hidden within Alabasta, are going to be brought to light – I can’t wait!
