Re:Zero Season 3 Crowned Best Isekai at Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026
The anime Re:Zero features exciting fantasy battles with swords and magic. The original Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World light novel series began in Japan in January 2014 and has been popular ever since.
The anime series first aired in 2016 and follows Subaru Natsuki, a reclusive young man who suddenly finds himself in a fantastical world. This world has a unique ability: whenever Subaru dies, he can rewind time and try again.
Unlike other shows based on existing stories, ZENSHU has a completely original idea. It centers on Natsuko Hirose, a promising young animation director whose first project is hailed as brilliant. Buoyed by this success, she decides to create a romantic comedy, even though she’s never experienced romance herself.
When she discovered her favorite animation director had died from food poisoning, she also found she had an incredible ability: bringing animated characters to life. She decided to rewrite the sad ending of his last film, and as she did, she started to fall in love with the hero of the story, Luke Braveheart.
The story of From Bureaucrat to Villainess follows Kenzaburo Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old government worker who falls into a coma while rescuing a child from traffic. When he wakes up, he finds himself inside the world of ‘Magical Academy: Love & Beasts’, a well-known romance video game.
Now stuck as the game’s villain, Grace Auvergne, he’s forced to play along while secretly looking for a way to break free.
The anime Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill tells the story of three Japanese high school students who are unexpectedly transported to another world. They’re tasked with helping the Kingdom of Rejiseger fight off a dangerous tribe of demons.
Tsuyoshi Mukuoda is different from his peers; he receives a strange ability – he can order modern-day groceries from an “online supermarket.” But when he cooks with these items, his dishes gain unexpected and unusual effects.
