Only the most dedicated PlayStation Vita fans are likely to know about the game EXSTETRA, which has a rather clunky title.
This role-playing game came out in 2013, but it was only available in Japan on Sony’s handheld console.
It’s notable because both its plot and its gameplay revolve around kissing girls.
Ryoma can strengthen his companions by kissing them, transferring energy that helps them fight the world’s monsters. It’s a key part of how the game works.
EXSTETRA will be available on PC through Steam on July 30th, marking its first release in the west. A remastered version for PlayStation 5 is also being made, but a release date hasn’t been announced yet.
