The Buffalo Bills quarterback shared a funny habit that bothers the actor from Sinners, and explained how he deals with it.

Josh explained to Eric Wood on the May 20th episode of the Centered on Buffalo podcast that whenever his wife tries to remove something from his beard or mustache, he instinctively reacts by flinching and pulling away.

The NFL player recently shared a funny story about his dad. Growing up, his father would playfully growl if he or his siblings touched his beard – a habit the player seems to have picked up! This comes after he married Hailee in 2025 and they welcomed their daughter in April.

Okay, let’s be real – sometimes you just can’t help a little playful habit, right? That’s what Josh, from The Edge of Seventeen, shared about his relationship. He confessed he playfully nips his wife, and honestly, it always gets a reaction! He says he just can’t resist – it’s an easy way to connect and always gets a rise out of her. It’s a silly little thing, but it clearly works for them!

When asked about any annoying habits Hailee might have, Josh played it safe and didn’t say anything.

“Absolutely nothing,” he joked to podcast Eric, who replied, “Well done.”

This isn’t the first time Hailee and Josh have opened up about their relationship. Previously, Hailee, 29, shared a glimpse of Josh’s first birthday celebration since becoming a father with their fans.

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to Josh turning 30. Although his birthday was officially yesterday, we’re continuing the celebration all weekend! This is especially special because it’s his first birthday as a father – we get to spend it with our baby girl.

Almost a year after people started speculating they were dating, the athlete and actress recently made a public appearance on social media. They helped the athlete’s sister, Nicala Madden, reveal whether she’s having a boy or a girl in a sweet TikTok video.

 

During Paris Fashion Week, the actress from The Edge of Seventeen and her NFL player boyfriend were seen on a date, both wearing similar khaki-colored outfits.

The football player publicly confirmed his relationship with his partner on Instagram, sharing a photo from their trip to the Eiffel Tower on July 23rd.

Included in that same post, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family. 

Reporter Kay Adams, on her show Up & Adams, playfully nicknamed him “Mr. Hard Launch.” When asked about his relationship with Hailee, he shyly responded, “We love love.”

Hailee and Josh announced their engagement on Instagram on November 29, 2024, with a photo of Josh proposing and Hailee accepting with a kiss. They revealed they got engaged on November 22, 2024, in the post’s caption.

 

Josh and Hailee recently became engaged and then made their first public appearance as a couple at the NFL Honors, where Josh was awarded MVP. He sweetly acknowledged her in his acceptance speech.

He told her she was his greatest support and closest friend, adding that he wouldn’t have been able to achieve this moment without her.

The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful California wedding. The bride wore a strapless gown with elegant elbow-length gloves.
