The last character for Tekken 8‘s Season 3 has been announced, and it was a complete surprise!
I’m so hyped! Yujiro Hanma is joining the Tekken roster in early 2027, and he’s coming straight from the Baki the Grappler series. If you don’t know Baki, it’s this crazy martial arts manga and anime that’s been going strong since 1991 – seriously, the fights are unbelievable!
Yujiro is Baki’s father and is depicted as unbelievably powerful. He’s essentially the ultimate opponent in the series.
It’s still unclear what he’ll look like in Tekken 8, but I’m really excited to see, as the visual style of Baki is incredibly impressive.
This guest character is a surprisingly wild pick – even more unexpected than Clive from Final Fantasy 16, who joined the game in the first season.
Yujiro is joining the roster alongside Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. in Season 3. Kunimitsu will be available in just a few days, on May 27th, while we’ll see Bob this summer and Roger Jr. in the autumn.
