Mesoké, a new game from developer Mystik’art, will be released on PC through Steam on May 26, 2026. This solo project is a peaceful and thoughtful flying and exploration game where you guide the spirit of a woman as she journeys through a dreamlike world inspired by memories, feelings, and lost places. You can find it listed on Steam as an Adventure, Casual, and Indie game.
A Kite, a Meditating Woman, and a World Built from Emotion
In Mesoké, you experience the journey of a woman’s spirit as she meditates and travels through a beautiful, dreamlike world. Carried by a kite, she explores landscapes reflecting different emotions – happiness, sadness, peace, and memory loss – gradually uncovering a story about lost love and healing. The game tells its story not through words or on-screen instructions, but through the environment, music, light, and silence. The developers at Mystik’art want players to understand the game through exploration, sound, color, and symbols, and are considering adding subtle visual cues based on player feedback to improve controls and sensitivity.
Chi, Momentum, and the Risk of Flying Too Close

The game’s main way of moving is based on building up speed and momentum while flying. Players need to find a good rhythm to stay in the air, whether they’re flying high above the world or narrowly avoiding obstacles. Flying close to dangerous areas is risky, but it gives you more Chi – a special energy used to rebuild a palace and unlock memories. The better you fly, the more the game helps you move, making it a skill to master rather than just a way to get around.
Mesoké isn’t just about flying; it also features a central hub – a sort of inner palace – that expands and transforms as you uncover secrets within its emotionally driven worlds. The game is designed as a peaceful journey focused on exploring feelings, memories, and the process of healing after heartbreak.
Demo Out Now, but No Reviews Yet
You can try out a demo of the game on Steam before its full release on May 26th. The demo lets you play through the first three worlds and explore the Inner Palace. The game is built using the CryEngine. Currently, there aren’t any user or critic reviews available on Steam or Metacritic, and OpenCritic doesn’t have a score yet. Steam does show that 3 content curators have reviewed the game, which is separate from public user reviews. The developers, Mystik’art, have confirmed that everything you see in the game is created by hand. While some images on the Steam page and in the game’s library were touched up using AI, this was only for stylistic purposes and based on original in-game content. You won’t encounter any AI-generated content while actually playing the game.
System Requirements, Controller Support, and Steam Features
To run this game, you’ll need at least Windows 10, an Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and a graphics card equivalent to an NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD RX 580 (8GB). You’ll also need 5 GB of free storage. For a smoother experience, the recommended specs are an Intel i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 3060 or AMD RX 6600. The game can be played solo and supports Steam Achievements and Family Sharing. It’s best played with a controller, and full controller support is included. You can choose from 102 different languages for the game’s interface, in addition to English. The price hasn’t been announced yet.
