My Hero Academia Unveils First Look At Exciting New Release For November

The popular anime series based on My Hero Academia finished its run in December 2025 after nine years. The original manga by Kohei Horikoshi, published in Weekly Shonen Jump, became one of the best-selling manga series ever, with over 100 million copies sold worldwide. The manga ended in 2024, and the anime concluded a little over a year later, showing what happened after the massive Final War. In the final chapters, the heroes deal with the consequences of the battles and work to rebuild their country. Despite the main story being over, the franchise continues with new content like spin-offs and video games.

What’s Next For The My Hero Academia Franchise?

I was so excited to finally see the real end to the anime! It technically finished last December, but this month they released a special episode called ‘My Hero Academia: More’ that adapts a bonus chapter from the very last manga volume. It’s amazing because it jumps forward eight years and shows what everyone’s been up to – Class 1-A, the Big Three, all the pro heroes! The episode really focuses on Ochako and it’s fun to see all the top heroes hanging out together, plus we finally get to see the official hero rankings!

The anime is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a lot of fun surprises for fans! The latest episode was part of the celebration, and there’s more on the way. A new website has also launched to share all the updates about the anniversary projects.

The series is coming back with a new anime short called “I am a hero too,” which will follow Eri’s life after the war. Inspired by Class 1-A’s performance at the school festival, she’s pursuing her dream of becoming a singer. While a release date and trailer haven’t been announced yet, fans can also look forward to concerts, new merchandise, and other exciting projects throughout the year.
