Jason Derulo Turned Rocket Carwash Into $2 Billion Business Venture

Jason Derulo is never in his head when it comes to investments.

The singer of “Want to Want Me” has admitted to making some bad financial choices, but he’s also had a bit of luck with other investments.

You know, people always ask me about my best investment, and I always say it’s Rocket Carwash. I was chatting with TopMob News at the American Music Awards in Vegas just last month, and I told them it’s a business I’m truly proud of – a real success story I can point to with confidence.

He shared that the carwash business, which operates on a membership subscription, is now worth $2 billion. However, despite Rocket Carwash’s success, Jason remembers all too well how quickly things can fail.

Let me tell you, I’ve definitely made my share of bad investments – more than a few, actually! But I’ve learned something really important through it all: expect more failures than successes. That’s just the reality. The good news is, you only need one investment to really pay off to make it all worthwhile. It’s about playing the long game and not letting those early setbacks discourage you.

He thought aloud, “If you find several, that’s great! But you really only need to find just one. You just need one bit of luck.”

Even though he’s done well financially – with investments in businesses like Rumble Boxing, Catch LA, and the Omaha Supernovas volleyball team – the singer of “In My Head” has realized that none of that money brings him as much joy as performing does.

He explained that before and after every performance, he expresses gratitude, saying, ‘Thank you, God, for letting me do what I love.’ He also thanks God for the ability to create music that people enjoy listening to.

Jason explained that true passion and happiness aren’t about wealth or money. He believes they come from something deeper.
