Bandai Namco just revealed a trailer for Season 17 of My Hero Ultra Rumble, announcing that Mirko will be a new playable character when the season launches. Season 17 arrives on May 27, 2026.

Mirko is the biggest new addition to the game, but the promotion for Season 17 also revealed a new fighting style for Present Mic and a new costume for Mt. Lady. These updates will be part of the usual seasonal events, rewards, and cosmetic items, though Bandai Namco hasn’t shown everything that Season 17 will offer in the trailer.

My Hero Ultra Rumble is a free-to-play battle royale game based on the popular anime, My Hero Academia. Players join teams of three and compete against 23 others to be the last team standing. Bandai Namco frequently adds new characters and items to the game with each season. You can play on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC (through Steam).

Season 17 is launching on schedule, following the typical pattern for the game. The previous season, Season 16, started on March 25, 2026, and introduced the character Star and Stripe. Bandai Namco has consistently released new seasons roughly every two months, each bringing a new character, events, a Battle Pass, and special costumes. With many Season 16 events ending on May 27th, the launch of Season 17 fits this regular schedule.

Fans have been discussing who else might be added to the game after seeing the trailer, with Aizawa being a popular guess, but Bandai Namco hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet. Right now, the only confirmed additions for Season 17 are Mirko, a new fighting style for Present Mic, and a new outfit for Mt. Lady – unless the official patch notes reveal more.
