Daniel Osbourne, played by Rob Mallard, is struggling to cope with being targeted by online trolls in Coronation Street.
Sam Blakeman was shocked when he voiced his worries about the inappropriate relationship between Daniel’s girlfriend, Megan Walsh, and a teenage boy named Will Driscoll.
He witnessed her arrest and completely believed her explanation that Will simply had a harmless schoolboy crush.
Megan was pregnant and hoped the police would believe Daniel was the father. She planned to tell him eventually, but worried he wasn’t prepared for another child.
Kit Green, played by Jacob Roberts, said the best way to prove she wasn’t involved would be a DNA test. However, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), who was defending her, pointed out that she couldn’t be made to take one.

Eva Price later told Daniel she was pregnant. He then demanded answers from Megan, but was shocked when she wouldn’t cooperate with his request for a DNA test.
He spelled out that, until she did, their relationship was over.
Recently, Will confessed to the abuse, and Daniel has been facing bullying from his students. Hope Dobbs intentionally made fun of him in the hallways, and when he reacted, she falsely claimed he had attacked her.
After being suspended from work, Daniel secluded himself in his apartment, telling his family he was on vacation in the Lake District. He’s also been targeted by a harsh online hate campaign, with someone using the username ‘Truthteller’ posting abusive content about him.
He was restless on the sofa, unable to get comfortable. The new housemate, Jodie Ramsey (played by Olivia Frances Brown), noticed he hadn’t been writing for some time, and others appeared to be taking advantage of the situation.

Daniel felt a little better when the person who started the trouble finally stopped, but things weren’t over yet. While visiting his father, Ken Barlow, a group of young men started shouting insults at him and threw ketchup bottles at him, all while recording his angry reaction and threats.
After grabbing a curry at Speed Daal to calm down, he spotted a new face, Idris Nazir (Junade Khan), watching the video and laughing. He reacted angrily, throwing plates and then quickly leaving.
Jodie attempted to soothe him while Ken led young Bertie (Henry Duggan) into the bedroom, as Daniel continued to throw a tantrum.
He then threw the TV remote control across the room, and Ken screamed out for him to stop.
When will Daniel’s torment end?
