This summer, Netflix is expecting a significant purge of TV series and films from its library. While it’s common for titles to leave the platform as streaming contracts end or expire, July appears to be especially challenging in terms of departures. On Wednesday, Netflix published its July newsletter, highlighting both the new additions and the shows and movies scheduled to depart during that period. This newsletter revealed numerous popular films due to leave in July, in addition to over 20 seasons of various notable TV shows.
Starting from July 1st, significant departures take place, implying that June 30th will be your final chance to catch these shows. On that day, Netflix will bid farewell to both seasons of The Wonder Years and all three seasons of Loudermilk, with the latter having made a surprising impact when it first debuted on the platform last year.
As the days progress in July, the suspensions persist: HBO’s hit series “Insecure” concludes its run on the 3rd, while the highly anticipated departure of “This Is Us,” the popular NBC drama on Netflix, is scheduled for the 8th – possibly the most significant TV goodbye of the month.
By the end of July, both popular series, “Call My Agent!” and “Wynonna Earp,” will no longer be available on Netflix.
