I love when games try something totally new, and Denshattack! definitely seems like one of those! But it looks like we’re going to have to be a little patient. The developers just announced that the game, which honestly sounds like a skateboarding train (how cool is that?!), is being delayed by almost a month. It was originally supposed to come out on June 17th, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on it.
The game will now launch on July 15th. The developers want to fix a few bugs discovered during development and ensure a smooth 60 frames per second on all platforms. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you control a train, performing stunts while traveling through a version of Japan where major cities are protected by large domes. It features unique boss battles, including one against a giant worm.
Okay, so the game’s been delayed, which stinks, but here’s some awesome news: they’re adding full Japanese voice acting! That’s a huge win for anyone like me who prefers to read subtitles instead of listening to dubs. I’m really excited because Denshattack! is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and I’m seriously counting down the days until I can finally play it.
