Why is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight releasing later on Nintendo Switch 2?

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight wasn’t released at the same time as other versions, and the main reason is likely the game’s technology. It uses Unreal Engine 5, which probably needed more time to optimize.

While a handful of games built with Unreal Engine 5 are now available on the Nintendo Switch 2, like Fortnite from Epic Games, they all have noticeable differences and aren’t quite as good as the versions you’d find on other consoles or PCs.

It’s possible TT Games needed more time to polish the game and ensure it ran smoothly.
