The story entered its final storyline in 2022, and due to the author’s health, new chapters began appearing quarterly in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA magazine instead of weekly. This final arc centered around a battle with Lucius Zogratis and the resulting turmoil in the Clover Kingdom. The series concluded with three final chapters released on April 30th, 2026, showing the aftermath of the intense fight. The ending resolved the long-standing rivalry between Asta and Yuno, with Asta ultimately becoming the Wizard King. With peace restored, each character has now moved on to pursue their own future.

Right after the manga finished, the creators announced that a final volume (number 38) and an official guidebook will be released in Japan on August 4th, 2026. It will likely take several months for these to be available in English. According to @WSJ_manga, a trusted source for Shonen Jump news, the guidebook will include a brand-new 15-page chapter. While fans often expect a final volume to include an epilogue, that won’t be happening this time. It’s currently unknown what the new chapter will be about, so it’s unclear if it will serve as an epilogue.
