Just got the news! Star Wars Zero Company is officially dropping on PS5 on August 27th, 2026. I just checked out the new gameplay trailer – it looks amazing, you guys should definitely give it a watch!
Everyone already knew Star Wars: Zero Company would be at Summer Game Fest on Friday to show off a new gameplay trailer. However, a leak from Dealabs user Billbil-Kun revealed some key details about the game’s release date online.
A reliable source says the game will launch on August 27th, 2026, just before many other big releases in September. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The standard version will cost $50, and a Deluxe Edition with extra content will be available for $60.
Even though the strategy game is supposedly launching in just three months, we haven’t seen much about Star Wars Zero Company since its announcement over a year ago. That’s why tomorrow’s Summer Game Fest presentation from developer Bit Reactor should offer a significant new reveal.
Here’s that original trailer:
The game puts you in charge of an elite squad during the final days of the Clone Wars. You play as Hawks, a former Republic officer who now leads Zero Company – a diverse team of skilled mercenaries from all over the galaxy.
This game feels very similar to XCOM 2, but features laser weapons and lightsabers instead. The story follows Hawks and Zero Company as they’re tasked with stopping a dangerous new enemy that could overwhelm the entire galaxy if they fail.
