Last Harbor is a Survival Crafting Game With Persistent Multiplayer Coming to PC in 2027

tinyBuild recently announced its new open-world survival game, Last Harbor. The game was revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026 with a trailer showing off gameplay features like fishing, the game’s look, and some action sequences. You can watch the trailer below.

Many survival crafting games involve building a base, but Last Harbor does things differently. Instead of a stationary base, players build and upgrade a boat that serves as their mobile home. This boat is where they’ll craft items, fish, cook, and improve their gear. They’ll need to venture further into a dangerous zombie-filled world to gather the resources needed to keep it running and expanding.

In Last Harbor, the game world continues even when you’re not playing, which naturally leads to encounters with other players. However, resources are limited, so those interactions can be dangerous – a chance meeting could easily turn into a fight. On the other hand, players can also work together to overcome difficult obstacles.

tinyBuild really emphasized cooperative play in their game, Last Harbor. The studio says you’ll need to team up and make friends to survive, as the world is very dangerous. They’re also subtly discouraging player-versus-player combat – gunfire attracts huge zombie crowds that both players would likely struggle to handle.

Last Harbor is being developed for PC and is slated for launch in 2027.
