What to expect from Spyro: A Realm Beyond

According to the official Xbox Wire blog, Spyro: A Realm Beyond is a completely new game starring the famous dragon, Spyro.

The blog post reveals that Toys For Bob is creating this new game. Fans might remember them as the developers behind the popular remakes of the first three games in the series.

Toys For Bob has updated Spyro’s look and given him a significant new ability: the power to fly freely without restrictions!

Paul Yan, the head of the studio, told the Xbox blog that players will be able to freely fly as Spyro in the upcoming game, Spyro: A Realm Beyond.

Despite his small size, he’s incredibly powerful. We ran many tests to figure out how he could be quick and agile while also maintaining the strength needed to powerfully move through the air.

Yan hinted at the game’s settings, explaining that a key part of what makes Spyro games successful is creating diverse, vibrant worlds filled with things to do, interesting characters, and hidden treasures that encourage players to explore everything.

Exploring the world is central to the experience in Spyro: A Realm Beyond. You got a brief glimpse in the trailer, and I’m excited to reveal more details soon.

While we wait for more info, you can check out that trailer for yourself below!
