Sammy and I were really excited for this game announcement, and it’s finally here! After a short preview a few weeks ago, Crazy Taxi: World Tour has been officially revealed.
The announcement trailer starts strong with The Offspring’s song “All I Want,” but unfortunately, there’s a downside we need to discuss.

It seems accurate at first glance, but people have noticed it was created using artificial intelligence.
SEGA is using AI tools to help its developers create content and let them focus on the more creative parts of game development. According to a statement on Steam, they used these tools while making Crazy Taxi: World Tour, but no AI was involved in creating the game’s characters.
So, we don’t know to what extent, but generative AI has formed part of development on this title.
This is happening more and more, and eventually you’ll need to decide if it bothers you. I’m personally quite let down by it.
It’s disappointing, but overall this looks like a great remake. Thankfully, Kenji Kanno, the original creator of Crazy Taxi, is leading the development, and the game offers a lot of different ways to experience it.
The game features a story where you play as Axel, trying to recover his stolen taxi. Beyond the story, you can enjoy multiplayer modes, a selection of vehicles to drive, and plenty of ways to customize them. Plus, there’s an Arcade mode that recreates the classic Crazy Taxi experience.
I’m so hyped for Crazy Taxi: World Tour! It’s coming to PS5 in 2027, which feels like a long wait, but I’m already imagining all the chaotic fun. What do you guys think about it? Let me know in the comments!
