Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Improves on the Original Game

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is receiving better reviews from both players and critics compared to the first game, which came out in 2018. The sequel is set in 15th-century Bohemia, allowing players to explore the Kingdom of Bohemia and parts of the Holy Roman Empire. The story continues directly after the original game, following Henry of Skalitz as he fights in a civil war to support King Wenceslaus IV, who is currently imprisoned.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, players take on the role of Henry and join a rebellion against King Sigismund of Luxembourg, who is trying to take over from King Wenceslaus. Bloodborne is One of FromSoftware’s Best Games

As a gamer, I gotta say, FromSoftware is the studio to go to if you want a truly amazing action RPG. They’ve basically created their own genre – people call it “Soulsborne” because it’s a blend of games like Demon’s Souls, the Dark Souls trilogy, and Bloodborne. What really sets these games apart isn’t just how deep and immersive they are, it’s how incredibly challenging they are. Finally beating one of their games feels amazing – you’ve earned that victory!

FromSoftware is known for its fantastic ‘Soulsborne’ games, and Bloodborne is easily one of the best. The game takes place in Yharnam, a beautifully designed city inspired by Gothic and Victorian architecture, but it’s been ravaged by a mysterious blood-borne plague. Players take on the role of a Hunter, tasked with uncovering the source of this plague and stopping it before the city’s inhabitants are completely transformed into terrifying creatures. It quickly became a beloved classic among fans.

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is a More Modern Contender

As a huge fan, I can honestly say Elden Ring is a masterpiece! It’s easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. Okay, the story can be a little hard to follow at the beginning, but trust me, it’s worth it. There’s just so much to do – the world is massive, there are tons of challenging enemies, and you can build your character in so many different ways. Plus, George R.R. Martin, the guy who wrote A Song of Ice and Fire (the books Game of Thrones is based on), helped create the world, which is amazing!

In 2022, Elden Ring was named Game of the Year. Its expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, was also nominated for the same award – a testament to how highly regarded the game is, even as downloadable content. A spin-off game, Elden Ring Nightreign, followed in 2025 and remains popular, though not quite on par with the original. Adding to its success, A24 is currently developing an Elden Ring movie directed by Alex Garland. The game’s quality also positions it as a strong contender for a potential Wild Hunt adaptation.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is an Incredible Remake of a Revolutionary Game

The Final Fantasy series is a legendary name in gaming, having been a key part of the industry since the late 1980s. Cyberpunk 2077 Proves that Only CDPR Can Outdo CDPR

is an action role-playing game created by CD Projekt RED, the studio behind the popular Witcher series. Given their success with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, many believe this game is a strong contender to surpass it. While Cyberpunk 2077 initially faced a difficult launch with numerous bugs, the developers successfully addressed these issues and transformed the game into one of the best action RPGs available today.

Unlike other games on this list, Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t set in the past or a fantasy world. It breaks away from typical RPG tropes, instead offering a futuristic, dystopian setting where you play as V, a mercenary in the city of Night City. You can customize V to create your own unique character.

V has many technological implants to help with their work, but these same implants lead to trouble when the consciousness of a deceased terrorist, Johnny Silverhand, is installed in their system. V now has to find a way to live with Johnny inside their head, otherwise Johnny could take over completely and control their body.
