On the day preceding ChinaJoy 2025, Sony convened a press gathering in Beijing, unveiling the upcoming phase of their China Hero Project.
During the presentation, they shared plans to fund the third-person shooter titled EXILEDGE and the character action game called Daba: Land of Water Scar.
Additionally, it disclosed partnerships with Virtuous, creators of the remake Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, as well as RichTap.
During the recent presentation, although the specifics weren’t shared, it seems reasonable to assume that all of these projects will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5. This assumption stems from the fact that the platform owner is heavily investing in them. Moreover, they have also funded the upcoming game, Lost Soul Aside, slated for release next month on both PS5 and PC.
EXILEDGE is characterized as an exhilarating, fast-paced third-person shooting game that seamlessly combines gunplay with action-oriented character traits. This thrilling production is being developed utilizing the Unreal Engine.
Meanwhile, Daba: Land of Water Scar is an action game telling the tale of a “humanoid clay puppet”.
Over the course of this weekend, you can expect updates on the China Hero Project, featuring gameplay demonstrations and trailer releases. We’ll keep you posted on all the latest developments right here. In the meantime, I’d love to hear your opinions about these recent collaborations!
