Guide: These 5+ New PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out Next Week (4th-10th August)

As the summer dry spells seem to be less frequent, this upcoming week’s array of new releases unfortunately doesn’t align with the idea that dry spells are disappearing.

In the upcoming days, not many game titles are heading to PS5 and PS4, but despite this, there are some intriguing games on the list. Mafia: The Old Country stands out as a notable title, while the new Demon Slayer game and Hello Kitty Island Adventure could also gain significant attention.

Here are all the new PS5 and PS4 games coming out next week.

New PS5, PS4 Games This Week (4th-10th August)

  • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 (5th August – PS5, PS4): “Play as Tanjiro and relive the Entertainment District Arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc, and the Hashira Training Arc from the TV anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba! Battle Upper Rank demons with your allies!”
  • Hello Kitty Island Adventure (5th August – PS5): “Embark on a cozy, open-world adventure with Hello Kitty and Friends. Befriend beloved characters as you explore and restore a mysterious island, solve ancient puzzles, cook delicious dishes, customize yourself and your cabins, and so much more.”
  • Gradius Origins (7th August – PS5): “This collection features 18 versions across all 7 arcade titles in the series, including the first-ever appearance of Gradius III AM Show Version on home consoles. A variety of helpful new features have been added to the games, including save states, a rewind feature, and Invincible Mode. The new Training Mode lets you adjust settings like restart points, loop counts, and power-up statuses to help hone your skills to perfection. There’s also a gallery feature that includes music from the game, a variety of images from each title, and much, much more!”
  • Slopecrashers (7th August – PS5, PS4): “Slopecrashers is an arcade snowboard racer starring a wild crew of animals on a globe-trotting quest to become champions — but someone’s out to ruin their plans!
