At this year’s Gamescom, Capcom will unveil three eagerly awaited games from 2026: “Resident Evil Requiem”, “Onimusha: Way of the Sword”, and “Pragmata“. Interestingly, a playable demo for “Pragmata” was shown earlier at ChinaJoy 2025. Here’s your chance to get a sneak peek, courtesy of GamersPrey.
The narrative of Pragmata centers on Hugh Williams, who finds himself isolated from his team after an occurrence at a lunar research facility. Later, Hugh encounters an android named Diana. After an encounter with the aggressive robots guarding the station, Hugh comes to understand that Diana holds the secret to disarming these robots.
In the thrilling gameplay, I found myself tackling a quick conundrum to dismantle a robot’s defenses, all while blasting and evading as Diana. Simultaneously, I had to use Hugh to hack the environment, triggering various switches – essentially, rapid button presses. A fresh weapon was introduced too, capable of trapping adversaries in place with its field generation, making crowd control a breeze.
The game titled “Pragmata” will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers next year. Keep an eye out for additional information about it, as it will be announced at Gamescom, which takes place from August 20th to the 24th.
