Beyond the big reveal and all the improvements announced for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft has shared even more details. This includes the PC specs you’ll need to play, and surprisingly, like with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, ray tracing – including both RTGI and reflections – appears to be a required feature.
To run this game, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a graphics card like an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660, AMD Radeon RX5500XT, or Intel ARC A580. With this setup, you can expect to play at 1080p resolution with 30 frames per second on the Low graphics settings, with standard ray tracing and a balanced upscaler.
To achieve smooth gameplay at 1080p resolution with 60 frames per second, we recommend a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1660 (6GB), Radeon RX5500XT (8GB), or Intel ARC A580 (8GB) graphics card. These settings use medium graphics quality, standard ray tracing, and balanced upscaling.
For the best possible experience, you’ll need a powerful setup like an Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a high-end graphics card such as an RTX 4090 or Radeon RX7900 XTX. This will allow you to play games at 4K resolution with a smooth 60 frames per second, using the highest graphics settings (Ultra), advanced ray tracing, and quality upscaling. You’ll also need Windows 11 and 65 GB of free space on a fast solid-state drive.
The remake is quite large in size, but that’s understandable considering how detailed it is. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced comes out on July 9th and will cost $60 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. You can find more information about all the updates here.
