The anime series Attack on Titan, based on the popular manga by Hajime Isayama, became incredibly popular after it first aired in 2013. The first three seasons were created by WIT Studio, but they eventually had to hand the series over to MAPPA due to a demanding schedule for finishing the story. MAPPA’s excellent animation proved a great fit for the complex narrative. WIT Studio handled the story from the beginning, while MAPPA took over everything that happened after the four-year time jump.
The story follows Eren, along with his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. Even though the Attack on Titan anime and manga have finished, the creators continue to delight fans with new content and experiences. Recently, Wild Faery announced the first-ever orchestral concert tour inspired by the series, titled Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis.
Attack on Titan Will Hold Its First Orchestral Concert

This tour will visit cities across the USA, Europe, and Asia. A new promotional image has been released, and all the venues have been announced on the official website. The website also features messages from composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto, who are thrilled about the tour. The concerts begin in October of this year and will run through August 2027.
The anime has hosted rock and orchestral shows before, but this concert is special: it’s the first time the music will be fully arranged for orchestra by the original composers. With over 100 musicians performing, tickets are now on sale. Be sure to check local venues for dates and availability!
What’s Next For Attack on Titan?

The story concludes with hints of more to come, but currently, the creator hasn’t announced any plans for a sequel or spin-off. While creating the manga, Isayama felt a lot of pressure and often faced burnout due to strict deadlines. Despite this, new content like artwork, postcards, and artbooks continue to be released, even without confirmation of future manga or anime installments.
WIT Studio announced that Kyōji Asano will be creating new illustrations of popular characters each month, starting in April. Asano played a key role in the first three seasons of the series, working as Chief Animation Director, Character Designer, Key Animator, and directing the opening and closing sequences. These original illustrations will be shown in stores and given as gifts to fans who purchase merchandise.
The series began 2026 with an unexpected treat for fans: a remastered version of Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter – The Last Attack shown in Dolby Cinema. This special film combined the two parts of the anime’s finale. Given how popular the series remains, we can expect more similar projects in the future. You can currently watch all seasons of the anime on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
