Godzilla Announces New Universe, “Godzilla World”

Toho, the company behind Godzilla, is planning its own shared universe of monster movies, similar to Legendary’s MonsterVerse. In a recent interview with News Picks in Japan, Chief Godzilla Officer Keiji Ota explained that this new initiative, called “Godzilla World,” will allow Toho to develop spin-offs based on original ideas, alongside films like those directed by Hideaki Anno and Takashi Yamazaki. While only Godzilla Minus One is currently confirmed, Toho has plenty of existing monsters and stories to build upon, particularly leveraging the universe established in Takashi Yamazaki’s recent film.

AI Gold Rush: HIVE and Keel Bet Big on Data Centers, Bitcoin Weeps

In the annals of industry, this shift is but a footnote, yet it speaks volumes of the human condition. The relentless pursuit of progress, the abandonment of old loyalties for new promises-it is a story as old as time itself. HIVE, with its $115 million war chest, proclaims its intentions with the subtlety of a brass band: to dominate the realms of AI and HPC. Keel, meanwhile, trims its sails, shedding the weight of its past to navigate the uncharted waters of the AI economy.

32 Years Ago, The X-Files Most Terrifying Villain Return For a Disturbing Sequel Episode

Before shows like Supernatural, Fringe, Evil, Lucifer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Grimm popularized the blend, The X-Files was a pioneer in combining genre storytelling – like science fiction and horror – with the structure of a police investigation. This mix was especially effective in the show’s scariest episodes, such as “Squeeze” (season 1, episode 3). While “Squeeze” was incredibly frightening, the follow-up episode, “Tooms” (season 1, episode 21), arguably had a bigger impact on the overall story arc of The X-Files.

2026 Is Getting Great Fighting Games but None of Them Have My Favorite Feature

While many new games look great, I’ve noticed a common problem: they often lack robust character creation tools. I really appreciate when games let you design a unique avatar with their own appearance, personality, and backstory – the Soul Calibur series was excellent for this. Street Fighter 6 took it even further with its World Tour mode and detailed character creator, and I hope future games released in 2026 will offer similar features.

5 Long-Dormant Movie Franchises Finally Returning in 2026

Several previously forgotten franchises are making a comeback this year, and we’ve already seen a few return. In January, fans got a new Silent Hill movie—the first based on the video game in fourteen years. Just last week, Faces of Death returned after a twenty-seven-year hiatus. And there’s more to come, including one franchise that hasn’t seen a new installment in almost forty years.
