DC Officially Confirms the Punisher is Just the Batman Who Broke

The latest storyline in Batman and Robin introduces Cyrus Mercer, known as the Quiet Man. He’s a former soldier who attempted a lucrative deal – selling recovered silver to the Falcone crime family. Unfortunately, the Ventriloquist interfered, causing a violent massacre and framing Mercer for the failed transaction. However, Mercer isn’t seeking revenge against the Ventriloquist for this botched deal. Instead, a surprising detail from his past reveals a striking similarity between Batman and the Punisher.

DreamWorks’ animated film Abominable, which premiered on Peacock on January 1st, won’t be available for long. It’s already scheduled to leave the platform by the end of the month. Koei Tecmo announced today that the release of their remastered version of Dynasty Warriors 3 has been delayed. The Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, originally planned for March 19th, was intended to be an updated version of the classic PlayStation 2 game. Kaley Cuoco Addresses Potential Based On A True Story Season 3 Return After Disappointing Cancellation

Kaley Cuoco both starred in and helped create the show Based on a True Story. The series follows her character, Ava Bartlett, and her husband, Nathan (played by Chris Messina), as they launch a true-crime podcast. Ava discovers that a new friend of Nathan’s, their plumber Matt Pierce (Tom Bateman), is actually a famous serial killer called the West Side Ripper, and he feeds them information for their show. The first season ended with the reveal of a copycat killer and Matt framing Nathan for his crimes. Despite these dramatic twists, Peacock canceled the show after one season.

Code Vein 2’s Open World Ruins an Otherwise Focused Soulslike

Code Vein 2 tells a new story, separate from the first game, but still takes place in the same world. While some players are disappointed by this, my biggest issue is with the game’s world design. The original Code Vein had spacious areas without being a fully open world, but Code Vein 2 has embraced that trend, and it ultimately makes the game less enjoyable. Elden Ring proved that a soulslike game can work well in an open world, but this new approach doesn’t suit Code Vein 2.

The Penguin Season 2 Gets A Disappointing Update From Star (& It Might Make The Batman 2’s Only Mistake Look Worse)

As a big fan of The Batman universe, I was a little bummed to hear that both Colin Farrell’s Penguin and Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone won’t be major players in the sequel. It’s not just the next movie either – Milioti hasn’t even been contacted about a potential return for The Penguin series! Director Matt Reeves explained that they were so far along in writing the script when The Penguin aired that it didn’t really fit. But he did say he thinks she’s fantastic and was really impressed with her performance in the show, so maybe there’s still hope for her character down the line. It’s a shame though, because I really enjoyed what she brought to the world!
