Big Brother has revealed the two former housemates who will return to the house during tonight’s live show (October 17th).
Tonight’s episode has a surprise! The contestants don’t realize the upcoming eviction is a fake – neither Sam nor Nancy will actually be leaving the house, even though they’re nominated.
The housemate with the most votes will advance to a private room and team up with two former contestants. These returning players have been revealed as Emily and Farida, the first housemate voted out of this season’s Big Brother, giving them a second chance at the competition.
Nancy and Sam are in danger of being removed from the show after receiving the most votes from the other participants. Nancy received seven votes from Cameron, Feyisola, Jenny, Marcus, Richard, Teja, and Zelah. Sam received four votes from Elsa, Jenny, Marcus, and Tate, news that left both of them visibly upset and in tears.
On the first night of the 2025 season, Emily was the first contestant voted off the show. She, along with fellow housemates Sam and Caroline, had to decide amongst themselves who would leave.
I’ve been following the show since I left, and honestly, it’s been interesting to see how the contestants have formed these little groups – they seem pretty cliquey! Coming back into the house was such a surprise, and it’s hilarious how my life keeps having unexpected turns. I’m genuinely thrilled to be back and ready to jump right in – it’s not every day you get a second chance like this, and I’m so grateful for it!

Honestly, I’m expecting a pretty big reaction from the other housemates when they find out about this twist! I think they’ll be totally shocked and surprised, which I can’t wait to see. They all seemed so nice during the short time I got to know them, and I’m guessing they’ll be really excited – they definitely *should* be!
Farida also made history on Big Brother in 2023 by being the first housemate to leave. Although she’s eager to return to the game, she’s concerned the other contestants will view her as a strong competitor. She explained that she’s naturally confident and can’t help but speak up when she disagrees with something.
Looking back at my first time on the show, it just didn’t feel right – it was way too short, only a few days! But honestly, what really matters is that the fans have been asking for this for ages, and I’m so happy we could finally deliver.
I kept hearing rumors about returning to the Big Brother house, even while Celebrity Big Brother was airing. It’s important to pay attention to what your supporters want, and that’s why I’m doing this – for them.
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
