The singer of “I Like It Loud” shared that the late music icon – who she dated briefly in the 1990s – asked her to wear a complete face of makeup even when they were sleeping together.
She shared at the Race to Erase MS Gala that Prince preferred she wear a full face of makeup, including lashes, even while sleeping. She happily obliged and continued the practice for years.
As for how the 54-year-old’s beauty regimen has leveled up since then?
She explained that she needs at least eight hours of sleep. She also prioritizes skincare, making sure to remove her makeup every day.
She clarified that she doesn’t drink alcohol and prefers to stay sober. She also mentioned prioritizing skincare and occasionally getting Botox, saying a little bit never does any harm.
Oh my gosh, I’ve read everything about Prince and his early connections, and it’s just… magical! Apparently, he first met Carmen – though her real name is Tara Leigh Patrick – when she was trying out for this all-girl band he was putting together. She was a singer and dancer, totally talented! He truly shaped my life and career, and I’ll always be grateful for his influence.
She shared that he had a profound impact on her life. He not only inspired her and had faith in her abilities, but he also carefully chose a small group of people to mentor, generously sharing his knowledge with them.
