Wanderstop was originally released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (through Steam) on March 11, 2025. It will then be available on Switch and the new Switch 2 console on June 25.

Abyssus first launched for PC via Steam on August 12, 2025.

The PlayStation 5 and Switch versions cost $49.99, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version is priced at $59.99 and is specifically a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Katsuhiro Harada departed Bandai Namco at the close of 2025 after dedicating over 31 years to the company. He held various leadership roles, including executive game director, chief producer, marketing director, and general manager. He’s most celebrated for his work on the Tekken series, which he’s been involved with since 1994.

Casey Baron is leading the program as Senior Programmer – a new position for him. He’s been a programmer with the Festival since 2022 and brings over ten years of experience from the games and film industries.
