Game of Thrones: The Mad King Sets Premiere Date

A new stage play, Game of Thrones: The Mad King, is coming this year, and the Royal Shakespeare Company has now revealed the dates. It will run at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon from July 20th to September 5th, 2026, with the official opening night on August 8th. Performances in July may be previews for the press and invited guests. Tickets will first be available to priority bookers on April 14th, and then to the general public on April 22nd.

A new report from Deadline says the upcoming show created by Steven Knight has replaced the actor playing Duke Shelby, Tommy Shelby’s son.
