As a big movie fan, I just heard some exciting news! Apparently, Netflix is getting the animated film Goat sometime in May 2026. While Netflix hasn’t officially said when next month it’ll drop, a source over at What’s on Netflix is pretty confident it’ll be happening very soon. I’m definitely adding it to my watchlist!
Apple TV+’s new comedy series is now streaming, with the first three episodes available. Based on Rufi Thorpe’s novel, the show, called Margo’s Got Money Troubles, offers a surprisingly funny yet realistic portrayal of motherhood and a mother’s determination to provide for her child. Elle Fanning (Predator: Badlands) stars as Margo, who unexpectedly becomes pregnant after a brief relationship with her college professor. Faced with the challenges of being a young, single mom, she finds an unconventional solution when her estranged father – a former professional wrestler played by Nick Offerman – reappears in her life. She applies the lessons she learned from his wrestling career to the world of OnlyFans.
As a huge fan, one episode that always stuck with me is “Out of Mind, Out of Sight” from the first season of Buffy. It featured Buffy and the gang dealing with an invisible girl who was seeking revenge on the popular crowd. What really got me, and still gets discussed by fans today, is the surprisingly clever twist at the end – it’s something I still think about!

Aside from You, these shows were all short-run limited series, and most likely won’t stick with viewers for very long. Even with big names involved, like in Black Rabbit, it wasn’t considered essential viewing. And despite good reviews and a lot of viewers, can anyone actually recall how The Beast in Me concluded?

At this year’s CinemaCon, Amazon MGM’s presentation felt like a chance to finally get some details about the next James Bond film, which has been in development for a long time. While they didn’t reveal much new information, Courtenay Valenti, the studio’s film head, made it clear they are dedicated to creating a Bond movie that lives up to fans’ high expectations. Overall, the presentation offered a positive outlook for the future of the franchise.
The story centers on Charlie Cannon (played by Jack Reynor, who bears a strong resemblance to Chris Pratt), a journalist living in Cairo with his wife, Larissa, who is pregnant, and their two young children, Katie and Sebastian. Their lives are disrupted when Katie is kidnapped and seemingly vanishes without a trace. The investigation by the Cairo Missing Persons Unit proves fruitless, mirroring the frustrating lack of progress in the Madeleine McCann case. Eight years later, Larissa gives birth to another daughter, Maud, and her religious mother-in-law moves in. Then, they receive the shocking news that Katie has been found. However, the Katie they find isn’t the happy, cheerful girl they remember; she’s deeply traumatized by her experiences during the abduction.
There have been several Lord of the Rings movies, both animated and live-action. Peter Jackson’s trilogy from the early 2000s was particularly groundbreaking, creating some of the most successful and beloved fantasy blockbusters of all time. Although his The Hobbit movies weren’t as critically acclaimed, they still proved that audiences remained fascinated with this world.
Netflix is creating a new animated movie based on Roald Dahl’s classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Set to come out in 2027, the film will reimagine the story with a fresh adventure, original music, and both new and familiar characters. It will keep the same British feel as the original. The animation is being done by Sony Pictures Imageworks, the studio behind films like KPop Demon Hunters and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
