Dune: Part Two returned to the desert planet Arrakis, following Paul and Jessica as they integrated with the Fremen people. Many Fremen believed Paul was their prophesied leader. While Paul initially tried to remain true to himself, he ultimately rose to power, defeating Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen and the Emperor to become a dominant figure in the universe. The film also depicted the Fremen fighting back against Baron Harkonnen and his forces, regaining territory. However, the central story focused on Paul’s growing influence among the Fremen, who came to revere him as Muad’Dib and then as Lisan al-Gaib. This transformation wasn’t spontaneous, though—a hidden force was subtly guiding him all along.

The second season of St. Denis Medical premiered in early November 2025 and didn’t disappoint. Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, and the rest of the cast delivered what might be their funniest episode yet with the season’s double premiere. One moment – Ron’s scream – had viewers, including myself, in stitches, and I even rewatched it just to laugh again. But it was another character that Mekki Leeper, who plays nurse Matt, mentioned in a recent interview with TopMob.

The fast-paced, witty conversations between Lorelai and Rory could have easily felt over-the-top with different actors, but Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel made their mother-daughter relationship feel both genuine and endearing. And Rory’s boyfriends all made a strong impact, as evidenced by how passionately fans debated who was best for her.

With so many action movies feeling the same these days, Sisu stood out as a thrilling war and revenge story, putting an elderly man in a remarkably intense fight for survival. Both viewers and critics loved it, and it’s still popular on streaming platforms years later. Now, the sequel, Sisu: Road to Revenge, is in theaters and is even better than the original – surpassing all expectations.

Netflix’s new comedy series is quickly becoming a hit in the U.S., currently ranking among the top three most popular shows. Critics and viewers alike are loving this funny and uplifting series, making it a great choice for a weekend binge-watching session.

In the crowded world of TV crime shows, CBS’s Elsbeth stands out with its humorous approach, often featuring killers with surprisingly quirky reasons for their actions, and guest stars you’ll recognize. The latest episode showcased Dianne Wiest as a nun who committed murder in a bizarre attempt to save her convent – her plan involved orchestrating the death of pop star Alaïa Jane by causing her to fall from a bell tower. It was a uniquely inventive crime, and Mother Constance quickly became one of my favorite characters on the show, rivaling Nathan Lane’s performance from Season 2.

In The Rise of Skywalker, the Knights of Ren were shown working with Kylo Ren to control the First Order and track down Rey on Pasaana. However, after Kylo Ren was redeemed as Ben Solo, it became clear their real loyalty was to Darth Sidious. Ultimately, Ben Solo killed them, effectively ending the Knights of Ren.

Despite the recent setbacks, Spider-Man fans have several exciting projects to look forward to. Beyond the Spider-Verse is scheduled for release in June 2027, and Spider-Man (possibly in multiple versions) will appear in Avengers: Secret Wars that December. Plus, Insomniac Games is reportedly working on Spider-Man 3, continuing the popular PlayStation 5 series. Even before those releases, Spider-Man is confirmed to appear in four significant movies and shows coming out in 2026.

I’m so excited! Kelsey Grammer just confirmed he’ll be sharing scenes with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in the MCU! He was talking to Entertainment Weekly and they asked who he hadn’t worked with before from the old X-Men movies, and he specifically mentioned Thor. He didn’t want to give away too many details, which is totally understandable, but just knowing they’ll be together on screen is awesome!

I’m really enjoying HBO’s It: Welcome to Derry – it’s a huge hit and everyone seems to love it! But before this show came out, another Stephen King adaptation actually premiered earlier this year. It wasn’t quite the massive streaming sensation It: Welcome to Derry is, and it got a pretty average score of 64% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it was still worth checking out.
