The popularity of the TV show Heated Rivalry, starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, has brought a surge of new readers to author Reid’s six-book hockey romance series. Heated Rivalry tells the story of Shane and Ilya, two NHL players whose decade-long romance unfolds as they grapple with their feelings and identities within the pressures of a traditionally masculine sport. The show, which follows their relationship, has been picked up for a second season.

The second season of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again will begin streaming on Disney+ next month. Continuing the story from the original Netflix series, it brings back Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin.

This documentary features incredible footage of Elvis Presley performing at his peak, taken from Warner Bros.’ archives stored in a Kansas salt mine. The film captures Presley after he started his famous Las Vegas residency. Director Baz Luhrmann enhances this rare footage with his distinctive style – think dazzling visuals, golden graphics, and vibrant colors – creating a truly spectacular cinematic experience.

Christian Bale recently told Jake Hamilton he’ll be returning to Chicago shortly to film “Heat 2,” the sequel to the popular crime thriller. Leonardo DiCaprio is also expected to star in the movie. While there were earlier reports about Bale potentially being involved, he has now officially confirmed his participation.

The first season of the show featured Cate (Anna Sawai) and Kentaro Randa (Ren Watabe), who discovered they were half-siblings through their father, Hiroshi (Takehiro Hira). Their mother, Keiko (Mari Yamamoto), was a key scientist for Monarch, but she disappeared for decades. Back in the late 1950s, Keiko studied Titans with young Bill Randa (Anders Holm) and Lee Shaw (Wyatt Russell) before getting lost in a strange place called Axis Mundi—a hidden world between our world and the Hollow Earth where time works differently. She eventually returned, seemingly after very little time had passed.

Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, who played Dek in Predator: Badlands, talked about which Predator could be a tough fight for his character if the story were to continue.

Taylor Sheridan is the creative force behind hit shows like Yellowstone and its spin-offs, the thriller Special Ops: Lioness (heading into its third season), Mayor of Kingstown starring Jeremy Renner, and Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone – which is getting a spin-off led by Samuel L. Jackson. Now, Sheridan is expanding his storytelling to the world of books with his debut novel, “How to Not Die in Prison.”

A24 just dropped the first trailer for their new movie, Backrooms, coming to theaters on May 29th. The film features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell. You can watch the trailer here:

MGM+ has announced that Robin Hood will be back for a second season, following a successful debut on their streaming service. The show, which offers a fresh take on the classic tale, stars Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham, alongside Jack Patten as Robin Hood and Lauren McQueen as Marian. Originally released in November 2025, the Lionsgate Television series is now confirmed to return.
