I’ve been following Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work for years, and he’s become incredibly well-known for manga like Chainsaw Man and Fire Punch. Over the past decade, he’s consistently released interesting stories, and his one-shot, Look Back, really stood out. It came out in 2021, and Studio DURIAN turned it into an anime film that many are calling the best of 2024 – and I’d have to agree! The story was already popular with fans, but the anime took it to another level. There’s even more to look forward to – on March 13th, 2026, they’re releasing a special sketchbook collection and director Kiyotaka Oshiyama will be doing a signing event.
