This has also sparked new hope that the manga’s ending might be revisited. They believe these extra pages could contain new information or an announcement for a third part of the series, making a continuation seem likely.

They calculated that the core chapters and standard elements like blank pages should only total 164 pages. Because volumes often have bonus content, this leaves room for additional, uncounted pages, hinting at the possibility of new material being included.

Many fans were disappointed with how Chainsaw Man ended, and the author seems to know that. They may have included additional pages to provide a more complete conclusion, possibly even showing Denji and Asa becoming a couple. However, a lot of fans also think these extra pages could be a way to hint at what will happen in the third part of the series.
