Even though the Chainsaw Man manga finished last month, fans have something to look forward to! The latest movie, based on the Reze Arc, will be available on Crunchyroll starting April 30th. This has also sparked new hope that the manga’s ending might be revisited. Many fans felt the original ending was unsatisfying and left several storylines unresolved, leading them to believe a continuation could be announced.
After the final chapter was released on March 24th without any mention of a continuation, many fans assumed the series had ended. However, recent discussions within the fan community have sparked hope that there may be more to come. The official listing for Volume 24 on Shueisha’s S-Manga website shows it has 176 pages, and fans have noticed this is more than expected. They believe these extra pages could contain new information or an announcement for a third part of the series, making a continuation seem likely.
Chainsaw Man Final Volume Will Include Extra Pages, Possibly With New Content
The final volume of Chainsaw Man will include 12 additional pages, bringing the total beyond the current 164. These extra pages could feature things like Pochita sketches, blank space, an extended epilogue, character spotlights, or a message from the author, Fujimoto.

A recent online discussion started after a user named @epppyyy on X pointed out that the final volume of the series might include 12 extra pages. They calculated that the core chapters and standard elements like blank pages should only total 164 pages. Because volumes often have bonus content, this leaves room for additional, uncounted pages, hinting at the possibility of new material being included.
Many fans were disappointed with how Chainsaw Man ended, and the author seems to know that. They may have included additional pages to provide a more complete conclusion, possibly even showing Denji and Asa becoming a couple. However, a lot of fans also think these extra pages could be a way to hint at what will happen in the third part of the series.
It’s understandable why fans are eager for more of the story, as several plotlines are still open. They also have faith in the author, Fujimoto, and his ability to deliver a captivating and surprising continuation. This gives them a glimmer of hope for the future of the series. We’ll find out if Chainsaw Man will continue when the last volume is released on June 4th, 2026. Even if it ends there, the extra pages might offer a little more closure, perhaps hinting at the fate of characters like Aki or Reze, or even exploring a relationship between Denji and Asa.
