Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc Reveals Streaming Release Date

As a huge fan, I can tell you that Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc was absolutely one of the best anime films of 2025! Seeing Denji go head-to-head with the Bomb Devil was an insane, city-shaking experience. It’s been out digitally for a while now, and a lot of us have been eagerly waiting for it to hit a streaming service. Well, great news for fellow Chainsaw Devil fans! Crunchyroll just announced when the movie will be added to their library, and honestly, it’s coming much sooner than I expected!

I’m so hyped! Crunchyroll just announced that Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc will be available to stream starting next week, on April 30th! And it’s the perfect way to kick off Crunchyroll’s “Ani-May” – they’re promising a ton of awesome stuff for anime fans all month long. We’re getting the 10th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, plus exclusive interviews with people like Adam McArthur from Jujutsu Kaisen. The best part? The Studio MAPPA film will have both the original Japanese audio and an English dub, so you can watch Denji’s newest adventure however you prefer!

Chainsaw Man Will Return

I was so hyped after seeing Denji on the big screen, and it didn’t take long for Studio MAPPA to announce more Chainsaw Man! They’re adapting the Assassin’s Arc next, which is going to be incredible – it throws a bunch of assassins with seriously cool Devil powers at Denji. Everyone’s wondering if it’ll be a movie or a full second season, and honestly, given how long the arc is in the manga, I’m leaning towards a season. But either way, get ready! If the manga is anything to go by, this is shaping up to be the most brutal and action-packed adventure we’ve seen in the anime yet.

Earlier this year, manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto brought the story of Denji to a close with the final chapter of Chainsaw Man in March. Although this concluded the second part of the series, Fujimoto hasn’t indicated any plans for a third installment. The ending provides a definitive conclusion for the characters, suggesting a continuation isn’t needed. Fortunately, the end of Chainsaw Man doesn’t mean Fujimoto is retiring from manga. He’s previously created popular and well-received stories like Goodbye, Eri, Look Back and Fire Punch. While he hasn’t announced a new project, Fujimoto now has the opportunity to create something entirely new.
