Even though Pearl Abyss successfully launched the planned updates for Crimson Desert last month, they’re already working on more content. Beyond improving the recently added Re-blockading features and introducing new factions, a new patch with special mounts is expected to arrive in just a few days.
The game includes a feature called “extraction” that lets players get back materials they used to improve their equipment. This likely means you can either undo upgrades on your weapons and armor, or completely break them down to reclaim those materials. It’s a useful option for gear you’ve outgrown, especially items from the early part of the game.
We’re not sure exactly what’s included in the upcoming update, but we’ll be carefully reviewing the patch notes as soon as they’re released to share all the details. The last update from Pearl Abyss fixed a problem with a lack of enemies later in the game by allowing enemy groups to reclaim areas players had already cleared. It also let players fight bosses again, either at their original difficulty or scaled to the player’s current level.
Our latest feature details these updates and showcases Pearl Abyss’s skill in improving Crimson Desert based on what players are saying. Read more to understand their development process, including how they manage without a traditional roadmap.
Hey Greymanes! Just wanted to share some exciting news about the next patch. It’s coming out in the next few days, and I’m really hyped! They’re adding some awesome new mounts, and a really cool feature where you can get back some of the materials you used when crafting gear. Seriously, being able to recover those materials is a game-changer for me, and I can’t wait to check everything out!
