Darth Revan Officially Joins the Star Wars Disney+ Universe

As a huge Star Wars fan, I was thrilled to hear that one of the most popular characters who wasn’t originally part of the official story has finally joined the galaxy far, far away! But there’s a bit of a surprise with how they’ve brought him in. It’s definitely an interesting development, and I’m eager to see how it plays out. I’ve been following the news closely!

According to The Direct, the iconic Darth Revan has officially entered the Star Wars universe. The character first appeared in Part 2 of the newly released Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, alongside a very sinister version of Obi-Wan Kenobi. This development isn’t entirely unexpected, given that the show’s premise revolves around a fractured and incorrectly reconstructed Star Wars universe. However, Darth Revan appearing anywhere outside the Knights of the Old Republic series is still something to celebrate.

Darth Revan originally appeared in a video game. Once a mighty Sith Lord, he was betrayed by his student and left to die, but the Jedi Council found and saved him, giving him a new life and identity. Throughout Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, players gradually learn the truth: the character they’ve been playing is actually the former Sith Lord, Darth Revan, all along. Even though Darth Revan hadn’t been featured outside of the game until recently, he quickly became incredibly popular with fans. It’s a twist that resonated with many players, and he remains a fan-favorite character. His story is a compelling one.

Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past first appeared on Disney+ on September 19th, exciting fans. Continuing the story from Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, this new installment offers a completely different take on the Galaxy. Pieces of the Past includes many unusual and mixed-up versions of familiar Star Wars characters – like a villainous Obi-Wan Kenobi and a Luke Skywalker who became a professional pod racer instead of a Jedi – and more.

Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Has Been A Huge Hit

, who plays Sig’s brother Dev/Darth Devastator, recently talked about the main ideas explored in the show. “Ultimately, we just want to enjoy ourselves, and I had a great time working on this. I’m glad I could create something that hopefully brings a little joy to people,” Revolori said.

That’s exactly what we aimed for with this show. Right from the start, the idea was to create something Star Wars fans could simply relax and enjoy. We wanted to offer an experience without needing to worry about complicated storylines, established canon, or anything that might detract from their love of the franchise. It’s all about having fun – seeing beloved characters in silly and entertaining situations, just having a ball.

Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past is currently streaming on Disney+.
