Good news for fans! Behaviour Interactive has heard your requests and is adding Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th to Dead by Daylight. The newly released trailer shows he’s just as terrifying and dangerous as you’d expect.
The opening immediately creates a dark and intense atmosphere, with a dimly lit cabin and a fierce thunderstorm. When Jason enters to retrieve his machete and mask, you catch a glimpse of his reflection, all accompanied by a classic, recognizable musical score. We were incredibly impressed by this, and it’s a big reason why we’re eager to experience the game ourselves.
We were particularly impressed by Jason’s abilities. He can silently track survivors by following their footprints using his Omnipresent Evil power. Additionally, his Improvised Carnage skill lets him throw nearby objects at fleeing survivors, and even pin them to walls.
Get ready for plenty of frightening moments and scary deaths when the beta test begins on May 26th. The game will officially launch on June 16th, marking its 10th anniversary.
