For the past several months, Infinity Nikki‘s experience has been akin to a horrific dream, due to the v1.5 update significantly altering the game’s narrative in a way that left many players feeling disenchanted with it.
Since then, Infold Games has embarked on something of a recovery effort, with their homebuilder system serving as the cornerstone. This system is set to debut within version 1.9 starting from September 1st.
In line with our previous announcement, Nikki will soon acquire the privilege of her very own private island. On this island, she can construct a home, equip it, and even design the surrounding landscape. The island allows for farming, fishing, and numerous other activities, but we anticipate that the feature might initially be missing some decorative elements.
The official blurb reads:
As an avid adventurer, even I can appreciate the need for a sanctuary to soothe my soul. That’s why I’m thrilled about the impending launch of my very own heart-shaped cloud island, nicknamed Infinity Nikki’s Home! Starting September 1st, this paradise will be mine to shape, decorate, and cultivate.
Imagine planting vibrant flora, constructing charming abodes, collecting shimmering stars, and even raising enchanting aquatic creatures. And let’s not forget the adorable animals that call this island home! As a stylist, I invite you to join me in bringing this magical haven to life – there are plenty of surprises in store for us both!
The developers are putting a lot of effort into this update, as it includes a collaborative, free crossover event with Stardew Valley. This means players may receive extra costumes and items.
As a devoted gamer, I’m thrilled about an upcoming enhancement for the PS5 version of the game. Right now, it operates at 30fps, but we’re planning to boost its capabilities to handle frame rates up to a seamless 60fps in Performance mode! Although this might slightly diminish the graphical finesse, it promises a noticeably smoother gaming experience – a significant advantage, especially for those who own a PS5 Pro.
The video you see is just a preview of the new home builder, but we anticipate a more detailed video will be released by the end of the week, giving you a full picture of what Infold has planned. It seems that now might be the perfect moment to revisit that dress-up game, as it’s making an effort to regain its former prestige.
